@Kage848 If you come across the mission requiring you to build a watchtower, take it. Its a bit of a pain, but it gives you a portable beacon you have to use to finish the mission. When the mission is over, you get to keep the beacon and can relocate it back to your base for a permeant marker on the map.

Platinum is pretty plentiful, titanium not so much. I’d recommend keeping all tools at platinum and use titanium only to make high tier benches and hunting rifle. You can add stuff to your tools to improve them past titanium levels anyway.

If you spec into lower encumbrance penalties, movement speed, and bow you can mine 500kg and still move as fast as the start day. Also if you take reduced jump cost. You can sprint/jump and move super fast even being maxed out on weight. If you get wine/beer buff you will regen stam super fast. I will literally fill my inventory and run back to base. Once you get teir 4, spec hunting rifle. its twice as good as maxed out bow. crits for 3700 and one shots lvl 120 bears.

Getting copper from that cache is amazing until you get the most expensive t4 items every bit of copper is good. Also here’s a tip for people if you get the cache missing and don’t mind waiting 10 minutes for the next mission take the cache and abandon it you will still get the XP for the mission although I assume it’s a bug but maybe not since you are suffering a wait time penalty and 90% of hard cache for me has been food which I don’t care about

Thank you for the content. What is appealing about playing this game solo; what does it have to offer to a solo-play experience that any other rudimentary survival game doesn’t have?

Hey Kage, something I used to do a lot when I was mining and didn’t want an animal sneaking in behind me in the cave, I would take the stone and turn it into the stone pallets, and put them just outside the doorway blocking the way in. It gets the stone out of my inventory for the moment, and it keeps me safe.
