I wonder what Stolas and Blitzo’s relationship will be like in the next episode? Stolas now believes that Blitzo is nothing’s but a irredeemable power hungry jerk for seducting him for his book. How will Blitzo and the rest of the IMPs be able to go to the human world without that book, I highly doubt that Stolas would want to let Blitzo use it after what happened at Ozzie’s.

Stolas remains my favorite character in the show but damn this song would’ve put him there if he wasn’t already. It’s so good and telling of his character as a whole as someone who feels imprisoned by the circumstances of his life. And the “what’s between you and I, just a comfortable lie” bit really hit hard for me. It really makes the dynamic between him and Blitzo more interesting as they both doubt the other’s feelings and intentions.
