The whole vibe of this video is weird… It’s like they decided they are sick of playing Strasbourg St Denis… and maybe they are, but it comes across in the performance as kind of a “we are too cool for this show” vibe… The horns are making faces and just don’t seem in to it, and the piano solo is un-metered as hell, and its seems like he’s totally not vibing with the audience then wondering why they can’t clap right with him… Piano and Bass not in sync, I love this song and Roy Hargrove, but this is just weird as hell. Having said that, its not really a clap along song IMO lol…

That was brutal in the bridge the audience was so out but then he modulates the piano solo rhythm to fit the crowd and that’s why these guys are some of the best in the world.
