There has to be a good middle ground, While I agree w keying everything is dumb, These mil sim senile dads are kinda grinding the game down. they did the same thing to arma 3 and are doing it right now to battlebit

Last I checked, no one is telling you that you have to play like a rat, unlike shift W warriors who think everyone needs to play their way. Enjoy the game how you want.

i am a rat because i love piss of people, like when you finnaly done a quest and you need to extact, but you die by a guy in a bush and you need to do all again, or you kill almost all the lobby and you die by a guy in a tree. And my friends dont think its gona work when im ratting, but when they look how i whipe a squad with a mosin and they dont know where they’re shooting at it. its magnificent.

I believe high risk deserves high reward. If someone waits in a bush for 30 minutes, they shouldn’t be rewarded with the risk takers’ rewards. If I wanted to work with this idea, I’d add more enticing hot spots with special extracts.

I only liked to rat when i got a bolt action, makes sense to do so but hiding in a bush in a traffic spot is boring, personally ratting normally doesn’t mean instant win, i get 180’d pretty often when i get the drop off

For me (I have played way to much stalker) as a stalker inspiration game your game is flawed massively if you have Call of duty modern warfare play styles being valid in the meta

If you don’t understand what I mean go play stalker for a few hours

as a Rat/Chad switch enjoyer, W-key chadding is fun, Ratting is fun. Both are a core playstyle in the game. What many don’t realize is that there’s a time for everything. if i wanna snipe, im gonna sit on a hill and hit those 300m shots for fun, because its satisfying. If i run a dead raid on reserve im gonna loot and maybe at the end ill wait at d2 and see if someone shows up….but also.. if i spawn near dorms or resort.. im 100% of the time gonna go fight for my loot.

Sometimes its just fun to sit and let SQUADS walk over you before you blow all 5 up with an impact because it shows how unaware people can be of their surroundings. There’s nothing more humbling as a high level player than getting one tapped by a timmy from a bush with a toz. Focusing on JUST running and gunning can be a players downfall. but thats just my opinion

Imo the whole “tactical” excuse for the rat sitting in bush style is just wrong. Your not really using any tactics to outplay your opponent, just hoping someone runs in front of you.
