I hope the show doesn’t put via in danger. Putting a minor in danger has always felt like a cheap way to create drama to me. Obviously we’re all going to care about that, but you don’t have to create any meaningful connection to the character for the audience to give a shit. We care just because they’re young. It can work when the kid is powerful (like stranger things) or when we already have a strong connection to them, but via has only been in a couple of episodes.
It worked in seeing stars because we as the audience always knew that she wasn’t in danger, even if the characters didn’t know that. Hopefully, they’ll keep to that route.
So, I agree that stolas won’t tell her, because he seems to have a pattern of keeping her in the dark about stuff, even when it does her a disservice. For instance, she’s supposed to take over stolas’ responsibilities as a goetia, but he apparently hasn’t taught her any spells at 17? He also hasn’t told her about how abusive Stella has been, and while I understand that a good parent doesn’t want to turn their kid against the other one, there’s a difference between manipulating your child and telling them the truth about your relationship.
Tldr: I hope the show doesn’t put via in danger because it would be a cheap way to create drama, and stolas has already been shown to keep her in the dark about stuff, so he probably won’t tell her.

I think Stolas didn’t divorce Stella for all this time because he wanted Octavia to have a mother figure, something, as far as we know, he didn’t have.

I hope he does tell her. From what we can see in the first season when Stella yells at Stolas, Via knows the marriage is just broken and falling apart because of their arguments so the little amount of happiness she has left for the “normal” life she’s got is really small because she doesn’t really have one. She has parents that argue and yell. I just hope he tells her and it doesn’t become another plot hook for an episode because we’ve seen the same secret hidden from child cliche way too many times.

Chances are she’ll put two and two together without him saying anything, she’ll probably still be shocked tho because Stella had been screeching at Stolas so many times that she never thought it’ll actually get worse.

Looking back on it stolas having a side relationship with blitz behind Stella’s back was probably the first time he did something for him and him alone it doesn’t excuse none of his actions but I understand why he did what he did the fact that stolas endured all of Stella’s abuse and criticism just so Octavia could have a normal life says a lot not to mention stolas was really seduced by blitz’s it he was just going let him go if anything on the other hand if you think about at the end of they day Octavia is all stolas really has blitz has m&m and loona stella has his brother and friends
Stolas has had to many people that screwed him over in his life his dad didn’t really care for him he doesn’t the best relationships with neither blitz or Stella not to mention it doesn’t look like stolas is emotionally connected to anyone beside Octavia that really sad if you think about stolas deserves so much better

I don’t think it would be in his character to tell her. It would be in Stella’s, but not his. Maybe they will get into a fight because someone tells Octavia the truth (possibly Stella) and Octavia will probably get upset that Stolas didnt tell her, accuse him of still treating her like a kids just like in LuluLand. Talking about some “You never change!”

This is going to sound weird, but given that they’re royals, what are the odds of Andralphous pulling a pseudo-Claudius and trying to marry Octavia? It wouldn’t be the most unheard of, and it would ensure that Stella can get Stolas killed without the two of them losing anything. 🤔
