This title isn’t even accurate. Buddha goes to Brunhilde and says “I’m fighting for humanity” and Brunhilde is all “okay cool.” Even Buddha is annoyed at how unphased she was, certainly wasn’t begging here.

Edit: People not even reading this comment lol. Point was the title frames this as Brunhilde all teary eyed and on her knees begging for big Buddha to save them when that is not at all how she acted in this scene.

I think Sieg fried is way more nightmareous than them. Locked up in a high level jail for above beyond measure way more nightmareous than gods and humans. It means he is a half god and half human and that means he’s a legit demi god. This is just a theory.

My own theory here is that when it comes to it. The Gods will contest Buddhas fight. Insisting that it wasnt an official scheduled match.

So get this. Buddha may have switched sides, but his opponent wasnt on the roster. Now we know these things happen. But the thing is, one opponent didnt step into the ring. It was nine. The seven Gods of Fortune, who btw has Vaisravana as a member who was also on the roster.
They then merged into Zero who then morphed into Hajun.

Furthermore this wasnt even a fight but an execution carried out by the Seven Gods of Fortune.

Its a mess and i guarantee the Gods will contest this fight if they find themselves at a loss once this is over.

So thinking shiva and thor have swayed to humanities side. Maybe even in part from the outcome of heracles and jack the ripper. One of the few animes/mangas havent went out of my way to spoil myself on what happens.

Man, after seeing the Gods act like barbaric bullies to the humans, it’s so satisfying to see the Gods’ arrogance and glee turn into outrage and anger after Buddha switched sides. Then seeing Buddha telling the Gods to shut up and that he is not afraid to fight or kill anybody who tries to stop him, just makes this all the more better
