Idk, Stray is a game for people of every age, young kids and even older people or non gamers. I don’t mind, and I don’t think that people should be that demanding on its mechanics if the game itself is for more broad audiences. The game is fun, and one as a gamer, judging it on the same umbrella as more complex games *made* for more dedicated gamers is unfair. On its price I can’t say anything, since in my country the game is like $14 on steam, even though the average income difference in my country makes for it.

When I think of how many hours I got out of Elden Ring, high quality hours where I was hooked the whole time… I cant justify dropping 30$ on a couple hour game. I’m a major cat fan and have excess money but just… cant see it being worth it. So, good video as always homie

As someone who’s guilty of using the “Hour per Dollar” metric for games… the only point I agree in this video is recommending people to ‘buy it when it’s on sale or play it on PS+’ but other than that, buying the game at the full price of $30 USD seems like a reasonable price when compare to ‘buying a movie ticket/bluray’ that last 2-3 hours(+bonus content).
I have clocked in 11 hours already and I plan on 100% it later, the game is cozy, charming, relaxing and can be treated as a much needed palate cleanser after playing a FromSoft’s title

Int our current cutthroat video game Dev Market, a game like this is needed. A success shows other indie developers that they can be successful when making a game with love, care and new ideas. We are facing endless repetitions of call of duties/AC/FIFA every year. There used to be AA Game devs, alot of new ideas for new games that emerged. Right now, more than ever, it is important to support good games like Stray. If not, then others are afraid to try and deliver us game like these. Plus, it is a really good and fun game. I respect your opinion and thought on this but I strongly disagree with you.

I had the game for free on PS Plus, but chose to pay full price anyway. It’s all about supporting smaller developers, because they clearly put a lot of love and effort into the game. Unlike the AAA shitheads.

I actually took my time with this one. It was so beautiful yet simple. And my 2 year old son was glued to the tv and he’d laugh whenever I hit o to meow. He loved every second too
And the fact that it was “free” for PS+ was even better

Man, I love you, but detracting points from a game for being too simple or playable without paying much attention is pretty stupid, not every game needs to be an Elden Ring challenge, not every game must be a genius level puzzle that makes you orgasm when you figure it out.

You should evaluate a game for what they are instead of by what they’re not and you want them to be.

Just finished the full video and this made me unreasonably frustrated, I cannot wrap my head around the concept of essentially discouraging people from supporting the game, such a goofy take, I nearly wanna unsub and I actually enjoy a lot of your content

This concept makes little sense. It would be like if skyrim was a game where instead of a dragonborn you played as a rat. And could run around and antagonize the people but otherwise do nothing.

I think his title was just a teeny bit of click bait, and honestly he just meant that the game is too pricey for whats in it.

and as for the movie thing… I don’t need to buy a 600$ console or PC to go watch a movie.

We have reach that line which people have complaints about so amazing game’s and that’s sad.
Trust your gut and your taste and don’t listen the “professional reviewer’s”

They play games all day and night because most of them dont actually work in real jobs so they have lost the meaning of the fun of the gaming 🎮👾
