As someone who gave a chance to far cry 6 after seeing your review claiming that it’s the best FC you played and being massively dissapointed (glad I borrowed it from my friend that said it sucked and didn’t pay for it), after playing this game I completely disagree with you. For me this was a far better experience than FC6 and it’s horrendous story, tasteless characters and recycled formula. Stray was like a breath of fresh air. I felt hypnotized at parts and the setting and lore was really cool. Watching and playing it are totally different experiences. I think that the creators of Stray deserve to be rewarded.

Good points but like many others here, I also strongly disagree. People who are gonna buy this game physically (like me) know what we’re getting into, and I believe it’s one of the reasons why a lot of us want to support it that way.

There are less and less games like this every year, so I’d like to support the developers while I can.

I have a question..so would you not reccomend as dusk falls if it wasnt on game pass? Do you not think visual novels or similar games are worth money? If not why? Im just sorta curious and want to know your position on stuff 🙂

This is such a chill game, and it’s exactly what was expected from the marketing. And for that reason, I recommend it. Definitely not a one night game for me.

I feel like your over analysing this game. I played it and had a great time getting immersed in the world and story and never once thought that the movement system was dull or needed to be more complicated

People on the comments are saying that it’s our job as a consumer to reward devs that do a good job on games. I agree and if you have disposable income to reward devs that make games you like that’s awesome, but it doesn’t mean that the game is worth what you pay for it. Even though the dev did a good job I’d have to agree with Luke and there are plenty of times I don’t. I have some friends who are tight on cash and were on the fence about buying this game because “CATSSSSSS” and I’d hate to see them fork over $30 for 3 hours of cat time.

i think it’s pretty inconsiderate in regards to the developers to make an entire video urging people not to buy the game just because you personally think the $30 price tag doesn’t make up for the gameplay. this game clearly had actual passion and effort put in which means a lot in an industry dominated by companies pumping out triple A games annually with zero passion put into them with $60 price tags
