The jump system and other things you’re describing that would make this a completly diffrent game. Support inde devs please
Call me oldschool but I’d much rather pay 30€ for a short game with replay value than 70€ + 30€ Season pass + 10€ XP-Boost for a bloated game I’ll never seek to revisit again.
Only reason im not buying this game is because im an xbox guy and its impossible on this platform.
This is a weird take because he wouldnt say “dont buy TLOUS2” because the gameplay to TLOUS isnt why anyone plays it its mostly for the story which you can get that same experience watching or playing, if he wouldnt say it about other games in this kinda genre why is he saying it about this one?
The devs were already paid, stop simping
A game that has a decent story and easy enough for my wife to play for 30 dollars in fine to me.
This game isn’t for sweatlord gamers. It’s just a cute, fun game for “casuals”.
Support the devs. They didn’t lie about what this game is. It’s actually refreshing. Sweat lords don’t buy it, unless you really love cats. If you think 30 bucks is too much for a game that’s entertaining, you’re a cheap mfer.
The only thing my wife didn’t like about the game was the ending didn’t reunite her with her cat friends. Lmao.
What happened to the luke of the past
The guy who was willing to see the good in games even if they were hated like your old AC reviews or your TLOU2 review
Seeing your video om stray, silent hills PT, elden ring and even horizon… Its almost as if you dont “get” videogames even if you did in the past
This game started up in that one spot where there is a thunderstorm outside and all the cats lay down. I put down the controller and just let myself fall asleep to the storm lol I then started it when I woke up. Great experience in my opinion.
Nice, trying to bring down the indie scene… Disappointed in you, Luke.
Pawg Luke you say?
You know I would agree with you on most of the games you previously reviewed but, the developers put their heart and soul into this game. Yout clinical review is always appreciated and I know I can’t change your opinion, you have to start to open up your mind artistically
I hate cats. My girlfriend is a cat person so I bought it for her. I’ve spent a good portion of time playing it my damn self cuz it’s so amusing and entertaining. I hope it gets a sequel cuz it has a sense of actual turn off the brain n play enjoyment. Even with how the story is handled the game never feels like you can’t just pick up where you left off n still have the same feel as when you first picked it up. It even helps me understand cats a bit more. As a dog lover I’d say this game is a 9/10 for me
I really liked it despite it being a bit short and easy. I don’t find games need to be super hard or long to be enjoyable, especially if they look good and are fun. I would’ve liked it to be longer and a bit harder, but I enjoyed it the way it is.
Mad take. This game has so much heart. A wonderful atmosphere. It has something to say. And the game is not as short if you explore a bit and take part in optional activities. I just feel people should get behind a game that tries to do something a little different.
So many wholesome people on the devs side. Love to see how a lot of people understand the importance of paying money for these smaller scale games. Supporting games like this is the step towards removing the tedious open world ubisoft like games and hopefully having a return of creative and fresh games made with actual passion. Well done comment section
I think you have some good points and in fact, I did begin to feel the gameplay fatigue towards the end (so much to the point that the clean ending area was just kinda meh to me despite the tonality shift).
I will say that it is a wonderful game to blast through once and spending the extra 2 hours to get platinum trophy.
For me, I recommend full price, 30 bucks is fitting. And plus, like you said, the atmosphere and just vibe of Stray was my favorite part, it was a fun time 100%ing it.
Really? You absolutely should pay for it , it’s great , a new experience and well worth the money. God, your reviews are getting shitier and shitier. What a muppet take
people are really against supporting developers nowadays. such a lame-ass mentality ngl.
yeah this is why the game industry is going downward dont pay 30 for an indie game with creativity and quality but dump money to the eas and ubisofts
Luke you do sponsors on the videos ay? You like to make money for your work. Then why is your take so bad ?????
