this almost as wrong as the death stranding review
When a lack of curiosity killed the gamer. This isn’t an RPG or grand adventure dude…. it’s a simple focused narrative experience. It’s great.
We spend like 60$ to go to an amusement park. We spend tons on money on short lived experiences. 30$ for a 5 hour game is fine
Think you were much too hard on this, it definitely had some challenge especially the puzzles. Is it hard? No I wouldn’t say that but if you like the Lego games then you’ll like this
It’s OVER!
I overall defiently enjoyed the experience, but I played the game on PS Plus for free… frankly I don’t know if I would be as positive about it if I paid full price for it…
it’s a really cute game, but it’s way too short and it felt kind of empty…
I wish the world had more stuff to do in it, and that we had more areas to explore, when you really get down to it the game only really gives you two big areas to explore and they feel very simillar to one another.
Also the ending was very anti-climactic and felt kind of rushed…
Want a cool open world game where you play as a cat? Have you heard of Skyrim? They have a whole cat race
The game was a fun cat game that had an interesting twist. Beautiful locals, solid enough story to push me forward, wasn’t too long which after playing games like ac Valhalla, it was nice to not be trapped. If you review the game for what it is, it’s a 9/10 and should be recommended for full price or ps plus. The experience is worth the money
Edit: bro said he’d recommend as dusk falls because of gp but not the one of the most watched games on yt of the year. I know he mentioned ps plus but with adf he emphasized gp while stray it was just small mentions of it on ps plus. Still worth the 30 imo even though I did spend it(I planned to tho until it was announced for ps plus)
This is a bad take. It’s a labor of love that launched at a budget price to begin with. This isn’t the sort of game that needs to have dozens of hours of content, it’s one you sink into for the experience, the atmosphere, the visual storytelling, not the mechanical depth and mass of superficial sidequests.
Heck, I don’t even like cats..
got it for free on PS plus premium
Keep your negative opinion for yourself and just sit in your room don’t play anything
I get the feeling that if you played this game in the mindset of just playing it instead of for review purposes and trying to do everything, you would have enjoyed it more. From what I’ve seen about the game, it feels like its a chill sit down game people play in a comfortable setting not for a critique.
first he’s dunking on HORIZON: FORBIDDEN WEST and calls it lame, now THIS??? my man is losing the plot
I don’t agree with the points you make but I still appreciate the video keep up the good work
I feel like he just does these “woke takes” to get views.
I feel like a lot of people just listened to the first minute or 2 and stopped listening lol. The main critique is valid. You can get the same experience from watching a streamer play this game or playing it yourself. When that’s the case it’s hard to say that someone should buy the game. I think it’s a super cute game but this is a completely valid point.
need? playing is not a need, its something one enjoys. Its like dancing , a person doesnt dance for a specific need, a person dances for fun.
Its way too sinical to say ” you dont need to play” i dont know the game it can be good or bad but its not necesity.
So in conclusion it means we need to play it
No matter if it’s gameplay, environment, story, I play games for immersion, and this game nails that.
You’re entitled to your opinion, Luke. But writing “don’t buy it” on the thumbnail is incredibly shitty and shortsighted of you.
