Very refreshing that dunkey went against the crowd and actually made a review with reasons for his points instead of “you get to play as a cat so this is GOTY”.

Overhyped game to be honest. Yes, the cat’s movement looks great at times, but I knew that I had seen basically ALL there is to see after just seeing the trailers and some previews, and I didn’t even expect it to be THIS rough. They already limit what objects and places you can jump to because there is no free jumping but just the snap-on by pressing (A). Yet they placed objects there that are flung around and just float in the air afterwards? The inconsistent animations break up immersion regularly. A game that offers like 5 hours of gameplay and focuses solely on presentation with corners this rough for 30 bucks? Oh hell no.

I think this game would’ve been infinitely more entertaining if instead of you playing some savior cat, you played as just a regular cat that inadvertently destroys civilization just be being an asshole.

No SJW forced diversity so I don’t have to spend hours upon hours hurting my finger tips pressing 1* reviews and writing about how it is everyone else that is offended and soft for a game that I never played and am just regurgitating what I read in Reddit comment sections.

Despite what everybody is saying, this is not the first cat based strand type game, since (as u clearly showed) mario came out long before this game with their own cat based strand type game, which revolutionized the cat based strand type game genre and turned it into the cat based strand type game genre we are all familiar with today.

I don’t understand the adoration this game is getting. I found it incredibly dull. Couldn’t play for more than an hour before I was over it.

Guess people are really in love with visuals but I personally found them kinda disparate and ugly, especially the robots.

Stray looked cool and all, but its getting so overhyped and jerked off too for a an indie with next to no depth in gameplay its just a meme at this point. I welcome the game of course, but the praise is over the top ridiculous
