As a cat person, I had the sneaking suspicion that this title was just meant to capitalize on that bias. Call it pandering, perhaps.

This video feels unfinished. You bring up the “Ubisoft Playbook” analogy but don’t really elaborate on which elements the game borrows. I’d like to hear more about that aspect, and I feel like you were going to go into it before you cut so abruptly.

All in all though I’m glad you didn’t just make a meme review about this game. I feel like so many “reviews” of this game are just ‘haha funny cat.’

Yeah, im cat person but as a game point of view..stray isnt really all that great. Its decent but def not 10/10

The dissonance between the fact that the story of Stray acknowledges that your playing a cat with full seriousness without acknowledging the capability and motivation the story suggests of the cat generated no end of laughs for me. Ultimatly that made the game a really enjoyable playthrough for me, one though I suspect that I enjoyed the game was not in the way that the Developers Intended.
