I personally would have still loved the game if you weren’t a cat; the idea of a robot-post-apocalypse done in this style has been something I’ve always wanted

I don’t think it’s fair that he’s reviewed the very first release of the game late when the game had a hotfix with a bunch of fixes like 2 days after it came out, at least on PC. And performance and gameplay mechanics were way better than what he shows.

6.3/10 for the review efforts, 11/10 for Stray.

How true this is. I spent a lot of time exploring in the slums trying to find secret little areas. Trying to jump to things thinking there would be secret places where it doesn’t prompt you to actually jump but you can still jump to.

There’s not. All there is is the apartments you have to go to to fulfil the objective and that’s it. I get there are “memories” to unlock. But you’ll find over half of those just by following the objective rather than having to do much to find them.

It’s a fun game but lacks a lot that could have made it great.

I figured as much. This seemed like one of those games that should have been a tech demo. Playing as a cat just isn’t interesting enough on its own.
