I loved playing through Stray simply because it was just really nice to have low expectations or rather to play the game just for 1 thing and sell it so well. Being a cat. I know that sounds like an insult but there are so many games out there that look so promising but turn out to be a dry, second rate copy and paste of pre-existing games in its genre. While I agree with many of Dunkey’s points, I think it was a great move to release a game like this. So refreshing and so very cute. Hopefully, Blue 12 will come out with more games in the future that don’t cut as many corners. Loved Stray and I can’t wait to love their future projects.

He’s right about every criticism but it’s still cute as shit and a pretty good game I say if u can get it for free definitely play it if not there’s no shame in just waiting for a sale to like 20$

I appreciate that dunkey actually had some critiques against the game instead of just going “cute therefore 10/10” like most people do, nowadays people just see a game with a cute protagonist and/or world and their brains just turn off. I would say the game is still good enough to buy if you like cats and exploration, but it’s definetely not perfect.

I’m confused because if you’re actually exploring, experiencing the content/doing the side quests, and not just going from point A to Point B, then the game should take a bit longer than 5 hours. 5 hours seems fast for a first playthrough. Also, the commentary about the game not being full of easter eggs and hidden stuff is objectively wrong. There’s tons of little stuff you can find and do throughout the game that have no bearing at all on the story, especially in the second to last area. I’m also curious what system this was played on as I didn’t see almost any bugs or animation breaking on PC.
