This game doesn’t look it’s got much going for it outside the fact the you play as a cat…… which is honestly enough for me lol. After getting 106% in Crash Bandicoot 4 this seems like the perfect game to just unwind with

This is why I like you as a reviewer dunkey. You bring up valid criticisms and say how it is, even if it’s not a popular take, but you’re respectful enough that I don’t feel like you’re picking on the game. I just acknowledge that we assign different levels of value to different things.

I never minded little graphical bugs and animation glitches, or the fading to black at times. And I never thought the game became repetitive or struggled to fill time, in fact, my only real complaint was that it was short. The story was nothing to write home about, and I wish they didn’t use text boxes, but I acknowledge that that’s what the game was always going to be and it was a fun enough experience that I’d still recommend it, though maybe wait for it to be on sale as it is really short for its price.

It’s clear that the time and effort in making the game went in to making the core systems really solid and not padding out run time, which frankly, I think is better than the alternative.

My immersion from the game is ruined by the fact the cats are meowing to communicate. Cats only use meowing as a means to communicate with humans, and use a more pigeon like cooing sound to communicate between themselves. Yes, Cats invented their own language for speaking to humans.

i agree 100% and im glad someone finally called out the negatives of this game
i just wish it had more to offer but it really doesn’t have that much and the story didn’t grab me no matter how much i tried to let it.
its a good game
but its not as good as people are trying to say it is
