Bro it’s a game about a cat. Why are you complaining it’s not complex enough? Not every game has to have a skill set to be enjoyable, it’s just a linear interactive experience, nothing more, nothing less

Stray gets points from me for respecting my time and not overstating it’s welcome. It’s a Cat’s Eye View of a really neat world. And it lasts only as long as that is novel.

Comparing it to another game this year I really liked, Elden Ring; I felt like I had experienced all Elden Ring had to offer about 20 hours in, but I knew that I was dozens of hours from finishing it. Both great games, but Stray gets the nod for me.

I played some of this at my brother’s house, in front of his cat, and when the text boxes started popping up I was really disappointed. … Good to know that there isn’t a reason to get it from there, but … sigh. It should’ve been much more. Oh well.

I honestly feel like Dunkey had one of the worst experiences with this game. I managed to beat this game in about 7 hours and 40 minutes and did a few of the side quests and all that. I really didn’t have too many of the bugs that he’s had. If I’m being honest, the only ones I could find was one that made the cat turn left and right nonstop at a high speed and some of the colliders made some certain thin or small objects slightly phase through the ground. One major thing I can’t stress enough about this game is that it isn’t just 5 or 4 hours. Again, I have played the game before and did just some of the sidequests and my playtime was 7 hours and 40 minutes

I would care about the game if I wasn’t a cat, the story is the reason I play games, not the gameplay and I thought the story was amazing
