Goddmanit, those “journalists” are reaching completely new highs of brain damage, scientis should start making studies to see how far the brain can take damage while still being able to spit words.

The whole cyberpunk and techno genre was used by japanese culture to critizise the advance of technology. Of course cities and nations in a cyberpunk world will look bad and in need of help, because the whole point is to show that the change of the soul for machinery and superficial implements corrupt the world. Not because “the west is trying to portray asian in a racist way”.
