So I’ve heard people complaining about cyberpunk usually having a very Asian-themed aesthetic, yet often being filled only with white people, whic I think is a bit of a silly take and usually only true in some of the early versions of the genre, given that a lot of the big name cyberpunk media is actually anime or made by Asian creators, but I could maybe understand the complaint. But in a game about cats? And robots? Exactly how far do you have to reach to pull this out of your ass

Is there even a way to depict a world of robots without making it full of high-tech themes? Plus, there was exactly one Asian name used out of all the robots, as well as a clever homage to two uniquely American characters.

Kotaku, did you forget to actually play the game again and instead just look at some screenshots?

If they cared to do research then at mist they could argue is ethnocentrism as it only touches on culture of “orientalism” Culture is ethnic not racial
