Reminds me of a Prager U experiment where one of their employees wore a Sombrero and poncho. College age US kids said it was “problematic and racist.” Then he went to Mexico and was complimented on his outfit. The people there enjoyed the outfit.

Kotaku is nothing but an extreme left leaning gaming tabloid rag news site since even before the whole gamergate thing happened over a decade ago. The type of people who take Kotaku serious are the same type of people who read stuff like the National Inquirer, etc. Journalistic integrity is not even in part of Kotaku’s vocabulary.
