I’m surprised he never went into how a lot of the times, the cat’s first instinct is to murder things.
Does nobody get that the cat is genetically engineered? That humans made them better, smarter companions, including making little robot backpacks for them that make them effective participants in society?
Did you like the game? Would you recommend it?
Gato Roboto. Its a 2 bit Metroidvania where you play a cat that explores an alient planet and eventually gets a mech suit.
In the final scene the cat slow blinks at you which is their way of showing love and care. Unlike dogs cats don’t have the facial control to emote like humans, so for cat people who understand cat body language, the cat is actually very emotive!!!
I was wondering about how adept the cat was at understanding and achieving side quests. I decided that as this is set so far into the future they had evolved into some kind of intelligence but was too cool to be demonstrative about it
I love cats .. because they are NFG .. at least they are honest.
Spade, neuter, put down. Not necessarily in that order.
Some of the side quests reward you with little badges to wear on your cybercoat
The wheelchair graphic made me lol
I honestly dont know what in Odin’s beard were they trying to do with this game.
I’d rather play as a chicken.
The way he says “‘cause it’s a fuckin’ cat” at 4:25 is the perfect amount of exasperation.
Stray really ended up being exactly the game I thought it would be when I decided not to purchase it because of what I thought it would be. Nothing about what people have said about it has surprised me.
I will say I was expecting a more exploration game around a giant city. Kind of like the first open world bit but bigger and with the scientist robot as the central quest giver / upgrade shop.
It is still my 2nd favorite game of the year
I guess catboy Yahtzee officially exists now
0:45 “Never been an equivalent for the Garfield readers of the world” What about all the actual Garfield games?
Fun fact though in that ending where the cat turns around they’re blinking in such a way that real life cats do when they like/trust you
no no wait go back to that squirrel part again
So…… did he like it or not?
