I woke up & chose violence. In all seriousness, this is just a random video about my personal issues with the FGO community (if not just gacha game communities in general). I don’t play other gacha games so I can’t say for certain other communities are like FGO’s, but I would imagine a lot of them are. Also, I have no idea how the Japanese fans are like so if they’re any different, let me know. This video is mainly for me, so if you don’t like it, sorry fam lol looking forward to civilized, mature discussions!

The whole no banner thing is a little bit nutty but honestly its not that big of a deal imo and the fact some people are going a little to over board about it says alot about the community as a whole.

I personally think them choosing not to spoil stuff by delaying the servant releases shows that they really care about the game and their fans. They genuinely want to build the hype for LB7 by letting us learn about the servants before we get to roll for them. Summoning servants spoiling story has been a thing for a while, so I actually really respect this decision.

Also I’m looking forward to being able to save SQ.

Your not weird or anything. After watching this I can agree with most of your points. As a semi free to play player I do welcome times when I can play and save up the quarts. By delaying LB7 gatcha it means i as a said player of that group can save more. Downtime is actually a blessing for me as I work so i have little time to actually play events and roll. I also appreciate all my Servants and i feel bad that I had forgotten most as im also a long term player but i have been using my best such as Morgan and Majin. Though I have made it up to old friends by using them more lately Im also not a fan of the meta and other factors that could hinder my enjoyment. Hopefully the playerbase can be more patient and kind. Anyway this is my weird take as well. I’m not one to complain or mald.

Funny enough watching Cyberpunk Edgerunners made me realize that plenty of the new servants coming out are kinda forgettable, mid, and kinda similar to each other gameplay wise(not all of course)but the community will always complain about Lasengle being too greedy. All about making people have to spend when these same people also roll whenever there is a new shiny 5 star without considering the consequences of their actions. It’s like the concept of skipping banners and saving funds is a fairy tale to them. So bottomline Cyberpunk Edgerunners my anime of the year hahahah

I love the new servants that were coming out in JP. I think the problem is that the amount of new events that are coming out is ridiculous. Like you said , once new events and servants come in, we move on to the next one. We don’t have time to appreciate them. Our focus on “meta servants” doesn’t help either.

I really wish some fans would stop defending servent coins, appends and grailing to 120 are both good addition to the game that coins completely ruin and paywall, not to mention older welfares like rider kintoki or assassin shiki might just never get them.

And the Genshin community is even worse. It almost made me quit the game because of all the drama with no end-game content. Gatcha communities are toxic as all fuck.

I play FGO & Arknights, and I don’t mind at all when there’s some time in-between Events. I’ve got enough to do with two Gacha games as is, catching up with the story for both / farming takes already quite some time. So I really wouldn’t mind if there was nothing new for a week or a month, I’d just use up my daily AP during that time and prepare for upcoming Events that way.

It would also just mean you wouldn’t have to stress as much about progressing in events as often, and just enjoy more time to play other games.

I think I am okay with no banner on Gecember
I dont play JP but we should take the following into consideration because I follow the JP Side:
Given how Crazy FGO has been this year on the JP side in terms of banners.
I would appreciate that personally considering how powerful servants have been and they are also telling us to raise bond level and servants level meaning that they want us to prepare because this could be very hard. I think its great that they are giving us time prepare and breath freely.
Now consider this scenario: What if the story is so compelling and all the servants are written so well or they are servants that people have been wanting for so long that they are afraid people will go broke for FGO
I know this really doesnt mean much but we should be thankful for a breather

I think a lot of people are at a breaking point with Lasengles new way of running the game. Padded event duration and no reruns means a lot of dead time when we could previously look forward to new content. Not just talking about gacha but actual content to do that isn’t farming the same event nodes for 3 weeks. Also a lot of people are not simping for naked waifu #6969 who also happens to be the final servant of 2022. The prospect of a Deadcember just leaves a sour taste. It’s not what we’ve had for 6 years and it feels kind of bad that so much of the game philosophy is changing this late and not necessarily for the better.

i only care about seeing the new servants, so long as we get to see them i don’t mind if we don’t get them on the day the LB released, however this is the first time we delayed a banner for the sole reason that it will spoil the story, tbh it made me even more hyped

I completely agree with you, though sometimes I wanna make exact same mentioned complaints about the state of things on JP
I think it’s too early to bury FGO and let’s see what happens after LB 7 and the supposed Epilogue in Fuyuki
