Excited for Ibuki! Managed to snag two (!) copies of Yang and max out my Imaginary Around CE, so I’m pretty happy. After Ibuki the only things on my radar are Summer Kama and Koyanskaya, but we’ll see. Like you said, they’ve been mixing things up lately, which is nice. Also, I’m loving the 60 FPS mode update! It feels like a new game to me now.

Looking forward to the 5.5 story. Summon wise, I only spent 120 SQ and 20 tickets to get Van Gogh so I still have ample resources to go for Douman. Going to pass on Kintoki and Ibuki banners most likely. I don’t have a single K scope or BG so I leveled up the first welfare pure atk +50 NP ce I got, it’s not great, but already at 96 so might as well push to 100 to get the master quests rewards for CE.

As far as your comment about people who don’t care about the story goes, I have a whale friend who has been playing for a year so far, he paid for every GSSR + randomly buys packs. Whenever I talk to him about a story thing he unironically seriously just says “story ??? You actually read through it ?? I simply skip everything”. When I ask him about characters he wants to summon for he just tells me that he summons just for the meta characters (P.S all of the SSRs he has would rank in A+ and higher in almost every tier list and were considered meta at some point or currently).
Trust me dude, I was extremely shocked when I learned all of this. Like what’s even the point in playing the game if you’re like this ? Does seeing high numbers/quick clears in a game so satisfactory for him that he just does this ?
He did watch all of Ufotable Fate starting with Zero even though UBW already was out (he’s also one of those who think that DEEN Fate is trash though unlike everyone else who actually give a reason he just straight up says “it’s trash cause it’s old” and that’s it) but he doesn’t care much if at all for the Fate series.
On top of all of that he prefers playing Genshin Impact (even though he spent less money on that game) and he actually cares about the characters in that game (though if a character isn’t strong enough to his liking then he still wouldn’t use them).
Guess that’s what having IRL Golden Rule does to you.
