1. Aim isn’t that important
2. Bad teammates can be good
(if you play off of their bad plays)
3. Teamplay is most important
(combo utility, pick corners together)
4. Play less games, but focus and enjoy them
5. Absolutely have a controller on your team
6. If you have a controller, don’t lock a class/agent you don’t know how to play
7. If your opponents rush, set up crossfires with teammates
8. Fix your crossfire placement
(keep it on a height where the opponent’s head would be)
9. Bait teammates less
10. Don’t look at the map all the time and die because of it
(ask your teammates for info, get behind a cover and then look)
11. Don’t push smokes unnecessarily
12. Improve communication skills
(make callouts more often)
13. Counterstrafe and do it the right way
14. Gimmicks are not important
(they are the consequence of good skill so you’ll get them eventually, be solid and win rather than be fancy and lose)
15. Analyze pro-play
16. Record and review your games
17. Find people who play better than you and play with them
(challenge yourself to get better)
18. Mute toxic players, they won’t say anything useful
19. Don’t try to hard carry every game, do your best

My problem is my duelist isn’t getting us in I’m asking them to flash us or help us get in but they’re always the first one to die cause they just run head first in no using flash or ability’s

Im a controller main and my main problem and one of the reasons that Im not plat yet is that my duelists dont enter. Smoked off? No flash, no dash, just chilling in main.

The thing that got me out of the plat mindset is
1. Don’t be scared to lock in duelist
2. Try not to fill unless you have to
3. Its ok to lose a match, you feel like you’ve wasted your time but it’s just time to improve
4. Play other games to refresh your brain and have fun (i often play apex to reset my mind)
5. Don’t think that you lost ONLY because you top fragged, chances are they just had a bad game
And the last thing is, if your low elo and is scared to botfrag and get Trashtalked just trashtalk them back by saying “it’s just a gold game bro, are you a pro or something? “
