i got up to gold 3 on my laptop in episode 1, got a pc at the start of episode 2, immediately went up to diamond.
your pc is the biggest bottleneck in your journey upwards. Get a good setup. Then go off.

I’m not gonna lie I instalocked controller and I climbed out of bronze and silver so quick. Didn’t even have to frag out. Literally just set my team up and get a couple kills here and there.

Play less, this tip isn’t just true for Valorant or gaming specifically, it also applies to real life. If you want to improve at something, don’t spend hours at a time doing it, only to fail every time, burning yourself out and getting frustrated. You’ll only be solidifying bad habits by playing more but not focusing. More practice does not equal QUALITY practice.

12:53 , this I needed to hear the most out of all of the tips.. The amount of times I’ve had toxic teammates but delayed muting them because I thought I would lose out on info is ridiculous, just mute them right away there is no need for that garbage energy in your matches

Another tip: Don’t fight your enemy in their strong point if they are dominating you. Accept the fact that the enemy is better than you and make adjustments.

I have this friend I always play with when we was still in Bronze. Now I am Diamond and he is stuck at Gold. He always like to fight mid and always die. Even if the enemy is dominating him at mid he still continue to peek and fight. He gets happy when he win but 4/6 times he lose.

4 teammates the same rank as me?! I wish hahaha. I’ve been playing for the first time in a year or so and got placed into Plat2 (I got D2 in act 1 episode 2 and 3 then got very busy in life) which is a lot better than I remember it being lol. At plat 2 it was placing me against lobbies with multiple immortal players and d3’s. I got diamond 1 now and so I guess it is more normal to see immortals, but that was very wild for a bit there, not sure if anyone else has experienced this

I fixed my cross hair placement and went from iron 2 all the way to gold in one act. You can do this aswell.

2:41 I come from smite where combo-ing ability or cc (crowd control) is basic lvl team work so I guess I have that aspect down interms of valorant. Still suck tho
