I play CS and Valorant. I prefer the skin market for CS than Val, but ONLY because I can buy the skins I want at any time to customize my personal style…and (primarily) I can sell them again after if I get tired of them. You spend 100 on a CS skin, chances are you’ll get 80-100% of the value back depending…you spend 100 on Val skins, you support the dev…and get cool skins…but that’s it. That said, there is something fun about waiting for a skin to pop up in the market, and grabbing it after waiting forever.
Are skins expensive? Sure maybe but they’re not paid to win and when you’re gonna spend the money on that skin, you are getting that skin with no gamble which is like a million times better than spending money on loot boxes that does not guarantee you the skin you want, basically the trade off here is price but imo it’s not a problem at all (I am a f2p player btw)
Well only the pipe of Dezun which belongs to a dota 2 hero called dazzle costs 230 dollars ………… soo riot has been taking notes XD
Now i decided to buy a skin for my AR every few months. So I began with the elderflame Vandal from my store and used it for like 9 months. Then I believe I bought the prime 2.0 for the phantom. I was happy with those two skins for my AR’s, but every like 2 or 3 months I buy a new skin to supplement my needs. But recently I did buy the gaias ghost because it was POG. i dont know if that is smart
i still think csgo skins are much more expensive
So does it cost too much or no
Lady fk your content
As someone who almost bought the entire shop on league. (Around release of victorious aatrox) and stopped playing. I only stick to 1 skin per gun on valorant now and I only play once in a blue moon now. Yeah it hurts.
The genius who said “its csgo all over again” lmao at least you can sell those and get real money back. Huge difference.
Lol.
Often, yes.
Eh that’s not that bad do you know how much I spent on a riot singed account for LOL like 200$
I like the idea of the video, but I don’t think it was executed well. If this had the time and attention given to it that the longer “cracked” episodes do, it could have been a great video. What we got was barely mote than one could get off of reddit every second day. I would have really appreciated if you had gone into the details of why Riot did it this way beyond a version of “they need to make money”. Maybe explain the benefits for them over the monetization of LoL or LoR. Take a deeper look at the different currencies, the amount of those currencies left after buying a gun, the psychologicsl effects and such things. This would, obviously, be more work and would probably get you less money at the same time, because people don’t like long videos. I don’t even know if it would have been a viable move for you, but I thought you might like to hear it anyway. I hope this is not overreaching and I apologize if it is. Hope everyone what made it to the end of this comment has a great day.
champions balisong was looking insanely good and I was going to get it until i realized it was 70 bucks Canadian
100$ crazy… its not like there is an AWP skin worth 40k.
its cheeper than csgo csgo a good skin can cost 50$< VALORANT A GOOD SKIN IS 17.75$
I actually buy skins as a reward for ranking up. I would say its a great motivator to get better at the game. I see tons of bronze players with lots of expensive skins and I feel weird about it. Its like why spend tons of money on a game that you’re not good at?
I don’t get why the butterfly knife costs 5000+ Rp when the entire bundle costs around 6500?😂 just makes ney sense
Nothing wrong with F2P games of such high quality making money through MTX/skins/etc – the pricing is the issue. A MTX should NEVER be the literal cost of a AAA game.
I don’t think is that expensive, cause good skins are 16 or 20 bucks maximum, talking about guns, and not knifes obviously, but 4 example in cs the are way more expensive, with some of them being worth more than a 1000, so i think 16 bucks for my nice glitchpop vandal is really not an expensive price, and not only that one, but also the prime, reaver, etc, the best bundles in the game entirely may cost less than a single nice skin in cs
Yes
Are you kidding me? I can buy whatever I want for valorant skins in selling my ONE karambit csgo knife.
