This dont really work for console. Your thumb muscle memory just needs to be set by practicing flicks on heads and cross hair placement.

My warm-up before starting competitive is always two games of Deathmatch. First game ghost only until someone reaches 30 kills, then I can switch to a sheriff or vandal. if that game goes well, I might skip the second game. But if it doesn’t, my second game is spent solely vandal, but focusing on fight hygiene.

Ghost only dm is actually incredible. You’re gonna lose most fights, but that’s gonna push you to play better. With sheriff/vandal/Phantom you can get lucky sprays or onetaps, with ghost – you have to be delibetate, or you’ll lose 100% of the time
