Love your content❤️
whats that music at the start of the video its really nice, also great video as always the intros are very unique
More like, only few teams can pull off a no duelist comp – without having a major change in their play styles.
Me and my team have been running sova viper astra chamber and Kayo on breeze and it’s disgusting
OHHHH
G2 icebox comp is cracked even without duelists
I mean alot of the teams were playing jett main,y becuz of op but after chamber release and jett nerf, her picks dropped and chamber rises. Other sentinels were pretty much gone. However we do see some here and there. And certain initiators such as skye and kayo can act like duelists themselves or initiate for others to entry.
My thoughts.
movie recapped music , very nice
Duelist is the worst class in valo rn
One thing I noticed is that the teams using this has a more “CSGO” like disciplines in their team play.
Except if your team is PRX
Patreon soon? Videos have been leveling up
The thing about having a duelist is similiar to having an operator, sure it makes some things FAR easier than normal, but is it necessary? No.
Duelists make the initial contact teams face much easier than normal, but it also does not last long, hence why duelists are falling out of the meta, duelists are too heavily reliant on the first contact being successful because:
1. Their signature abilities are kill-locked, meaning instead of being on a timer it requires you to get kills, normally 2 for it to recharge, I honestly think this is too much for duelists to thrive because theyre so flat out useless after the first usage. This in turn makes them very rigid and more predictable, not to mention every other role has timer recharge abilities that do quite a lot more in terms of utility.
2. You are forced to be aggressive as a duelist because their utility favours aggressive situations, which not everyone is necessarily always comfortable with at all times. And after that initial aggression you tend to be a sitting duck because they tend to not have utility that is good for holding.
3. They are not necessarily completely irrelevant, as more aggressive teams like PRX will opt to use at least one duelist for that one “focal point” moment to simply run over the enemy team at that very moment. But nonetheless, playing a duelist means being inflexibly aggressive unless the entire team plays around you, which is not ideal.
Random Question maybe a dumb one. Does anyone think with Franchising coming we could see player trades become a thing. Just came to my mind seeing Zombs playing for V1 after Zellsis left. I think it could be interesting but definitely a weirder thing when it comes to Esports and fan support.
Chamber is duelist and Kayo is aaalmost
TMV literally said a few months ago that ascent must have a duelist pick for some success after 100t got destroyed , now he’s saying its alright for a no duelist comp , lol
What if on Haven for A takes the focus on short rather than A main a bit like on Ascent teams send the majority through tree rather than A main
I think valorant has a fucking terrible power creep issue with initiators. The classic example: Phoenix is supposed to be the guy getting solo pop-flash kills. Then you have kay/O, which not only can do the same shit phoenix does, but also has a similar ult with run it back (entry bombsites) with the bonus of disabling opponent abilities
I would say the biggest reason why the zero duelist approach became a thing relies on the initiator role, and they are overlapping with a ton of different stuff in this game (even with the duelist task of getting space). They are just too good
I’d say neon is just a staple pick in fracture
