BBL has played no duelist on Bind in VCT EMEA Stage 2 against Guild. They played: Sage, Chamber, Skye, Brimstone, Viper. They lost the Map 12 : 14 but they actually won 7 out of there attack Rounds.

NAVI vs TL, Stage 2 Challengers Week 4, where NAVI ran Fade, Skye, Omen, Viper, Chamber. Although NAVI lost the series, they won on Bind, winning 7/12 attacking rounds.

its fr so cool to see u grow, i just watched a video on Chamber by The Score Esports and they put u in the same clip as tarik. i remember when i got your first ever video in my youtube recommended and i thank the algorithm. your videos have helped me so much understanding the game especially because im an igl for my team keep it up i bet you will have at least 200k at the end of the year

I remember you reviewed a game of fancy united playing triple controller, no duelist on bind and finding success with it but still losing the game. I wonder if a double controller, double initiator + chamber comp would be viable on bind as I can see the fade/skye combo working really well on taking/maintaining control on many of the dubious areas of the map.

The question is wrong. Its not “what maps can you run no duelist?” Its basically “what maps can you win without raze/jett.” Because initiators are outclassing duelists heavily and the only 2 primarily viable duelists are raze and jett. With a little bit of neon.

In my opinion, all 4 of the last four agents support very aggressive styles of play, and this influx of offensive agents may have pushed duelists out of the meta as the extra util from the other parts of these agent’s kits are extremely useful. Kay/o has a kit that is very similar to phoenix except the ult give more teamplay and the knife is a better ability to help your team than phoenix’s wall. We all know about chamber being able to take agressive angles and get away, and then there’s fade who’s kit allows for a more aggressive initiator playstyle than sova, with her abilities often helping teammates/self peek off the information/enemy debuffs. And of course there is Neon, who was made to be aggressive due to her duelist role.

In Bind there was an triple controller (viper, astra, omen) and omen making the duelist role, and they also sova and chamber.

I remember seeing team liquid playing reyna on this map at one point and I don’t remember any other duelists on that comp, although they dropped it after only 1 game and it was probably about a year ago(maybe at champions?)

i think this is due to chamber being very effective as a first blood/lurk agent with his get-out-of-jail free card. kayo also is great at creating space with his kit that resembles phoenix but with a better ult and kayo dagger > phoenix curve wall.

I think the Duelists are being generalized too much here. Raze and Neon are still A-tier agents that have lots of space-taking potential. It’s just that Phoenix and Reyna are pretty much useless while Jett and Yoru can be countered by any good team coordination. I think it really comes down to the team’s composition and how good each player fills their roles. Which class of agent you’re playing doesn’t really matter in a pro level.

what about oping we have accepted chamber as the best oper but with the tp radius nerf i feel the off angles he can hold are very less which i think gives back room for jett cuz she can still help create a good amount of space with her smoke and dash and op effectively i think
