I do not care about your opinion random commenter, Valorant is just CSGO for weebs, and I have a feeling CS will be in the same situation as TF2, so many games have came out, and tried to kill tf2, for example overwatch failed so hard that they had to make a “sequel” while tf2 has had zero content updates. And my feelings on this are only reinforced by CS2

tbh its like cs is for people that like simple shit, just gunplay and not that much chaos, and valorant is for people that like getting spammed by 10000 ults in one round. oh and if valorant woldve had a kick system like cs half of the weird playerbase would just leave
edit also i dont like picking a game based of community/skins i just watch gameplay and decide which ones better

I came from valorant and actually, pretty decent at it. I’m (diamond rank) but I’m loving CS more RN. i was “forced” to play it with my friends at first cause they were hype for CS2 and practically “begged” me to install it. (thinking i can carry them)
And I’m so happy that i gave it a shot. Everything feels natural in CS, the feel of the gun, the movement mechanics, utilities,map design and the economy of each round.

I feel really at home in CS. I often complain about how BS some agents abilities work in valo. But in cs everything you excecute is from skill. And one thing i absolutely love about cs is the short match option in rank.

Sure Valorant may seem more complicated than csgo due to abilites but the maps on csgo make up the gap.

respect, i remember watching that original comparison and as someone who’s played both (admittedly way more csgo) my eyebrow raised multiple times. Also, i don’t buy your VAC story but hey as long as you’re reformed then welcome back 🙂

Imma be completely honest I agree with like everything in here except your take on the abilities taking no skill they’re what differentiates the game from CS and you need good ability usage to be good at the game it’s another skill factor not just win conditions

One big thing in valorant that I 100% do not think you addressed is that the game is imbalanced between agents to the point that pick rates are through the roof for some agents purely by riot tweaking them or nerfing others. There are certain guns and maps that only work well with certain agents even if you are playing the same type of agent. In a tac shooter that seems kinda questionable and not an organic evolution of meta
