I can tell you right away why is there bad blood between csgo(cs2) and valorant. It’s because riot marketed themselves as the “CSGO killer” for months and that didn’t happen, unfortunately for them. Look at Minecraft and Terraria for example – shouting each other out. But if terraria marketed itself as the minecraft killer would that still be the case?

As a person who likes val more i think the ability part i just overused as a argument. It doesnt take very long to learn the abilities and I personally think it wont be distracting to use some flashy skins too. Csgo never tried to be a game with a story full of heroes with powers so ig it makes sense that val is like this.

I think CS:GO skins are better for the simple fact that you can make sticker crafts, creating unique skins for various reasons. It could be a goofy craft like “BIG/DICK/NRG” or it could be a sticker craft that just looks insane. In Valorant, you just see all the same skins over and over and they never change. I also agree with the comparison between R6 and Valorant completely. I played R6 year 3 and year 4 but after that, the number of operators just became too much and the stuff being added into the game made it unfun to play.

Counter strike’s just superior

And we don’t need to deal with “relatable” characters
(Before you say csgo has lore or whatever, it doesn’t interfere with the competitive aspect, not like it adds new abilities and all that)

One thing valorant does better is the ranking system. How tf do I win 10 games in csgo and still not rank up even though I was top frag for a majority of the games while my friend ranks up in 3 games as top frag for 1/3 of the games. This is the only reason I like valorant more. The ranked system is straight up. I know when or my progress is at for ranking up. Compared to cs go where it’s just brainless Insta que after a game and win or lose til I rank up or Derank.

This guy talking abt abilities being a crutch and how no one would be good if they were gone sounds like copium ngl. It’s literally a skill diff because of who can use their abilities better to their advantage. If you can’t do it because your bad, don’t complain abt it.

the recoil argument cancel out the whole skill argument tho, u need skill to correctly control recoil, the whole video is just filled with dumb arguments

I have close playtimes on both games (more on cs), but i would still go for valorant bc the game is a little more polished ( by that i mean it has better technical things like the better tick rate. Yes you can have better tick rate on cs by playing face it, but the diffrent tick rates affect the line ups sometimes) and bc i feel its more aciveble. You can see how much you’ve got to rank up and the algorithm is much better in my opinion. In cs the ranking system can be weird sometimes bc i would have a good win streak with top frag and still not rank up. However cs is much enjoyable when you have palls that are playing for fun, and for the skin part, i would go for the valorant skins ONLY FOR THE LOOK (and i understant the patterns and floats). On cs i go for skins so i can investment in them. You can win a lot of money (for an example i lost worth 300 euros from a lot of number k agents. I sold them when they were 5 euros to purchase an ak 😢). But in conclusion i tend to enjoy valorant more, but cs is still a good game that i have grown up with, but for me it kinda got boring

No. CSGO and valorant are still equal game , but in my opinion CSGO IS BETTER than valorant. CSGO take times to master gun and movement. While valorant needed no skill to do. It’s gun recoil is so fking random.

Comon, Brimstone can ult the spike, that means he doesnt need to peak the defusing enemy. When you die or lose bc of that a round you dont learn anything, you know that you cant do anything against it(Calling that skill is for me illogical).
