i simply think that both games are completely different and target different audiences so its hard to compare them like they are the same game. its the same as trying to compare warzone to apex

games are becoming easier by the day because people will always cry about how hard it its and that’s why there’s valorant for people that aren’t good at video games and its a good way to get mechanically good on MnK for new players on pc but if you want more of competitive gameplay csgo is amazing for that(r6 kinda the community has fell of but 5-6 years ago it was in its prime)

about the gameplay, saying that if youre not good at the abilities then you wont be good at the game is just so wrong, abilities help but its still way more important to have better aim and general gamesense

I for sure agree with the gameplay. I played CS:GO for a WEEK and played Valorant again, instantly won 3 straight death matches (only won 2 my entire Valorant career up to that point, shun me if you will) and top fragged and won 3 straight comp games playing Phoenix despite being a controller main. I’m in Plat in Valorant yet I’m Silver in CS:GO. Just goes to show how much of a crutch abilities can be.

I feel most Counter Strike players would be good at both games, whereas most Valorant players would get smoked in CS:GO’s equivalent of their rank.

Side note: going back to Valorant also felt like I was shooting watermelons instead of heads. I always thought the heads were a bit disproportionate but my God they feel huge now.

I play cs go from 2014 to today,
i will play valorant 1 in 2022, and i got screaming kids on the team after i uninstalled the game

havent played counter strike in any real capacity since like 2017-18 but I know that when CS2 is out I will still understand the game and be somewhat okay at it. Valorant has the same problem for me that Overwatch has, being the information overload when playing competitively.

Valorant is absolute total 100% major to the maximum level TRASH. And what makes me laugh SO hard is when people on CSGO sit and tell me valorant made them so good at CSGO LMFAO!!!
