As someone who plays both and came from CSGO, you really do eventually get used to all the abilities and extra shit Valo has to offer BUT the gunplay is so so terrible in comparison. Making micro adjustments, resetting your spray or even committing to a spray and tracking are non existent in Valo. It’s so random and makes no sense. Everything seems so counterintuitive. You have agents like Jett, Raze and Neon who are able to go at the speeds of Mach 1 but the game doesn’t let you track and spray them nor allow you to try and tap them either.

IMO, Csgo is better mechanically and aesthetically, while Valorant is really flashy and pleasing to the eyes (until abilities happen). Both games are just really different, so people shouldn’t compare them in terms of what makes the other good (CSGO’s shooting compared to Valorant’s Shooting, and Valorant’s Abilities vs CSGO’s grenades), those just don’t really make sense, so just appreciate each game for what they are and remember that people have their preferences.

I just recently switched to csgo after playing valorant, and I love cs go because i just love how its more aim based, instead of ability. I always felt like my aim was above average in valorant but i cannot do anything due to the fact that some people know how to use abilities, but when i hoped into csgo i felt like i was doing good and the decision making i learned from valorant carrys over 10x harder since i dont have to worry about some random dart or ball that can see me. I have not gotten below double digits in cs go, and rarely have went negative overall I think cs go is an awesome for look, shoot, kill, style.

i mad disagree with the “csgo skins better durrrr” csgo just has variety VERY small amounts of variety, could be a pattern being slightly to the left or a small tone change to the colour but valorant skins are way better though very distracting. hell even the skins that arent all glowy and stuff still look pretty nice. csgo half asses a lot of their updates and the community eats it like the best gourmet food ever.

I’m a cs guy but there is no way that valorant has worse skins. Anything decent in csgo is going to cost you an arm and a leg. Something as basic as purple gloves is going to put you back $65,000.

after taking a long break from csgo, then hearing about cs2 my opinion on valorant has shifted vastly. I used to clown on its abilities being to much to think about and the maps being to claustrophobic, but after getting back into the rhythm of a csgo type game I enjoy valorant a lot and can’t wait for cs2. I think players of both games should be able to enjoy each game to a certain extent. You can’t really hate on something you haven’t really tried.

i am literally the same. i started valorant little over a year ago and thought it was way better than csgo until i actually played it. now i absolutely love csgo and i’m starting to invest in skins. your amazing btw❤️❤️❤️❤️

Csgo and Valorant players can learn from eachother games alot such as crouching not always affective, fire in burst to reduce the recoil and flash throws for kayo lol

Eh, i think your take on the valorant skins on the original video was correct, I know they are flashy, but because they change sound and has animations, they are better than CSGO’s skin. I know, the steam market and all that, but despite having 10x more time in csgo, i still think valorant has done skins better

I played both games and i will say that my main issue with valorant, apart from the cringe stuff you will hear in games, is the gun play. What i mean is that in cs every gun has a unique spray pattern that will always be the same. In valorant your first shots are somwhat always the same but after that its just random. It is impossible to control lets say a vandal compared to an ak.

To me personally csgo has the best matchmaking system amongst other games. Skill really matters in csgo whereas in some games like overwatch 2 or fortnite it doesnt really look like that to me… And basically what i love is that csgo is never getting weird updates that can ruin or change the whole game that youll feel like a noob again
