YES!!! someone finally said it on the video! I was pushing myself to play valorant because all my friends plays it and i always get bottom to mid frag every match because of that damn abilities, Like i don’t know wether to shoot their abilities or ignore them and stuff, I can’t even tell if it’s my allies abilities or enemies’ ability near me. and the gunplay is horrible, like you need to stand so still in valorant or you have a 90% chance of whiffing and10% chance of it doing a random headshot. the recoil reset is horrible too like in an open area if you fucked up your spray you’re good as dead unless god kisses your forehead making one of your bullets somehow landing a headshot. wish they have a no ability gamemode other than deathmatch (which i can hold my ground in valorant because no abilities) btw sorry for bad english
ok as someone who has played both (around 1k+ on val and around 100hrs in cs ik weak but you gotta remember when csgo dropped i was still playing xbox360 and didn’t start playing untill it went F2P even then minecraft was my main game and i only recently started playing frequently) i can comfortably say that if i wanna just dick around and have fun in a game and talk to teammates i’ll play cs. if i wanna try hard and actually play more for picks and strategies i’ll play val. mind you i have been playing valorant since the open beta (gotta constantly flex the beta pioneer card and V1.0 tag) and i gotta agree with the statement of the val community is getting wayyy more toxic and annoying before it was burnt out cs vets and people who were looking to make a name for themselves now it’s a cesspool of e-daters try hard sweats. if you think seriously cs is more toxic than val i gotta know what drugs your on because i need me some of that optimism
no
switched teams when his ass is getting berated by cs community like lol what?
i feel like im the only guy that likes both games
bro was held at gunpoint💀
Been playing CS since 2013 and tried out Valorant for about a month. At first the gun play seemed way easier but I think that was down to the fact that the people I played against were bad. Towards the end I just got sick of losing because of abilities.
It was early days for Valorant but I also found that there was very little team coordination. More like a 5v5 Deathmatch with the option of planting the spike. Ik in CS you don’t HAVE to plant the bomb but even still generally the team will work together to win the round.
something that is rarely ever talked about is the world building.
it’s not because certain agents have backstories that utlimately mean nothing it makes them better. like what are you attacking, what does the spike do, why is there such a clash in texture styles between futuristic and contemporary if the world is meant to be the one we live in, why does it matter that an agent is from france or from ghana, why do the same agents suddenly want to attack the sites right after a whole ass half of defending them.
in csgo it’s simple, say you are a counter terrorist: you know what a bomb does, you understand that the bombsites have points of interests (targeting a whole ass bridge on overpass or a construction site in vertigo) that would endanger people if they were attacked, so it becomes a clash of extremist ideals and people trying to save other people.
simple and straight to the point, even makes you feel more emotionally attached because it’s a real fucken scenario
The thing with Valorant appealing to weebs is that a lot of weebs (especially older ones) would probably play CS:GO and spend a ton of money on weeb skins like the one you just showed. I could call myself a weeb and think of Valorant as trash. I know you were trying to generalize but this is just my take.
Valorant is like a cod version of csgo
most based video ive ever seen
csgo has workshop like imagine fornite without creative and custom modes. That’s valorant. boring.
I still dont get it instead of 2 communities support each other they simply choose to rip each other to shreds just because one has different opinion than the other. Look for example at Minecraft vs terraria debate both communities and games support each other as they should in the so called ,,Perfect world”. From my experience i enjoyed both games equally. I like simplicity of csgo and more precise, complex playstyle valorant Has to offer. I still cant figure IT out why both communities tend to fight endlessly. Idk why its so hard to see that whatever u do this debate HAS ZERO WINNERS. Its just endless cycle of one saying their opinion is just better with useless arguments. Because guess what u cant compare these 2 games on factors like ,,ooh i dont like shooting valorant’. ,,Oooooohh csgo Has bad skins”. SINCE both games have pros and cons. Some people WILL prefer csgo. Some people will like valorant more. And That’s IT.
I feel like compared to the first video you referred to in this vid, you are being a bit too far on CSGO side again xD I agree that CS is the more enjoyable experience, for me at least, but saying that you don´t learn anything in Valorant is just unfair. You can also build a huge skillset with the abilities of every champion. Now, I do agree that the abilities can make the game unenjoyable, because I was looking forward to a game where any ability is somewhat on the same level of brokenness. But in reality its just not. There are agents in the game I absolutely despise for their existence, off course its still a Riot game, so the balancing is as good as it can be I guess, but even the fact that there are abilities which deal damage is absurd for me. (In an interview before the game released, someone from the producers ensured the community there wouldn’t be any damage – abilities. And then there was raze…)
BUT that doesnt mean that a lot of the charakters can’t have a crazy skill range. I personally mained Jet, just because her moveset and her ult let you do some crazy things and outplays, if you have the skill for it. So there is, imo, a lot to be learned in Valorant.
I’ve said this before a couple of times. Valorant is where the worst parts of Counter-Strike mix with the worst parts of Overwatch. Gunplay is messy, yet the abilities are underwhelming. Pick a struggle.
For me like csgo player is Hard to Understand abilitys on csgo you have like smokes on every side a crazy line ups And thing also on valorant you have good skins but on csgo when cs2 dropping out the skins Just going be crazy
Btw very good content
Objection. 80% of cs go sucess is aim 15% is trade 5% is creativity. (Not counting “strategy” which usually consists of callout of site and thats it.)
i have a great trust factor and yet people call me f4g or any other slur ever in every game, EU servers are just toxic pile of garbage.
Ofc cs players are overwhelmed by abilities and stuff cus their used to only using grenades and not abilities. What you get wrong is the ability and gunplay thing. Yes Valorant is less gunplay and more ability but you forget that players actually need skill to use them effectivly. I dont know what elo you played on but in lower elos ofc the ability thing is just a messed up piece of shit. Also I like that Valorant gets updates every month. CSGO just get boring. CS players can get back to CSGO without playing for 3 months because nothing is added and nothing has changed you cant compare it like that. With skins i think that every person likes different things and i understand why cs knifes are nice but lets be real they are just nfts before nfts were invented. It is also hard to make money with them because when I pay 500€ I maybe get a 100€ knife and thats not profit. Yes some players get lucky and pull a 40.000€ skin but thats just 0.01% of players. Again a player that only played CSGO will 100% be confused when he plays for the first time but the longer you play the more fun it will make. CSGO is also way easier to learn compared to Valorant and its obvious that everyone will understand the game in 5 minutes. I personaly see it like a challenge. And yes I am a Valorant player and enthusiast and played since launch.
valorants gunplay is way better tho and it kinda sucks cuz it has abilities but still for me csgo gunplay just doesnt cut it for me personally.
