GHOST GAMING WINNING BOTH MASTERS AND CHAMPIONS IN 2024
Appreciate the clean explanation Rab 😊
It is not as perfect as the European football system with promotion and relegation, but this is as close as it gets. Beyond grateful that Riot actually listens to their fan base unlike other esport leagues.
where are the kids crying about franchising at? like why tf would riot kill t2 scene for no reason when they’ve been investing in the esports scene since launch unlike the dogshit valve.
I was really worried about “franchising” considering all the other e-sports that these franchised leagues have ruined the competitive scene. This system actually looks really good.
Good thing riot doing whats on there roots for eSports
Great video you explained it well!
this is actually the current format of valo lmao, lcq is ascencion and challengers are the challengers per region as of now, but the diff is we have permanent participants always in champions
i just hope the initial franchise teams will have a circuit points system wherein they will earn circuit points within the franchised league and in 2 years, those that have the lowest total circuit point will have to fight the ascended team for the franchise spot that way we can have a healthy cycle of relegation rightfully
All i Hope is that Ascension is a tournment that takes place AFTER VCT so that the teams that expire has an opportunity to regain that slot.
So is franchising just a whole bunch of new teams joining basically a league to compete in for a top prize?
I dont see how orgs that dropped their teams get a bad pr? Riot was not giving updates in relation to the tier 2 scene so it didnt make sense for orgs to keep players salaried to play in mickey mouse tourneys. The return just wasnt there. L take from the the first twitter user.
Huge W for riot !! Super impressed !
Its nice that they can drop teams too, like if members of the team get into bad PR trouble with the law or sexism/racism etc etc riot can choose to drop them as they don’t want that team to be a model for riot games valorant. So thats good, means the teams have to work on professionalism etc. Sets the stage for top quality performance and maturity.
VERY uncommon L by Rabb. It’s been so annoying reading in every chat, every comment section and now even in esports videos we’re covering an enganment of a player and his gf. Like who gives a fuck.
This isn’t TMZ or STREAMER NEWS. At least I hope it’s not…
Why does he move in 2x speed
They need to make it 12 teams each, just another 2. Thats it.
Honestly this was the format i thought would best suit franchising. Having a good T2 scene and a good stable franchising scene
Never thought I’d hear tactical rab mention moist esports
holy fuck this is looking amazing unbeleivable and especially if they actually make it easier for good players to be discovered as well
