i just want more lore man, the amount of lore in valorant every act is so insignificant its not even a joke, a lore drop of omen being a assassin to kill viper in the past is just not enough, like hello? thats all? We just know that omen realised he was a bad guy in the past and thats good enough?

The map thing is interesting. They say it’s for keeping balance so you can see the map but imagine waiting like 8 months or a year for a map to come back. I’ve forgotten my lineups already, I can’t remember how to play the map without a refresh so it’s the same shit I’ve got to learn again.

people are thinking the map pool is going to change at the same time as the new character release which yeah they are keeping til after madrid so they dont have to deal with having the players on an old update, it is not known what maps are being taken out but haven and fracture seem to be the two maps coming back into the pool and my guess is lotus will be one of the maps being swapped out which makes me sad because i actually like the map but i know majority hate on it. changing the maps to work like cs is an L really bad idea.

Unless Riot starts losing money, none of these changes will happen. They have no incentive. And honestly, it’s only the “hardcore casuals” that want these things. Pros have the pro scene, the normies don’t care enough, and then there is us screaming into the void.

Honestly, was thinking about the content for this act just yesterday. I feel if they at least adjusted the acts/episodes to coincide with pro tournaments or vice versa, it would be awesome. Its always hype to see a new reveal alongside a show match after a big tournament, but its obnoxious to have to wait a full month from the start of an act to see the new stuff. Fully agree

my take:
1. Increase map pool by 2 and allow us to BAN 2 maps. OR add entire map pool and do so ranked doesnt follow pro play.
2. Just add that damn replay system. It has become a meme now.
3. Rework some of the maps like ascent and lotus so everything isnt spammable. It is kinda rediculous. (i know it isnt in your ranked gameplay, but watch pro play and you will see.)
4. Don’t take a liked map out of map pool when you rework it. This isn’t real life it isn’t like you need to physically work on it. We can play the older version until it is ready to release changed.
5. Please don’t ever release an act without any changes.

nah riot changed it so you can no longer get the full map pool in swiftplay or unrated very pissy also i am a newish player and i would love to know more maps so when they re-release I’m not left at a loss whilst people do callouts I’ve never heard
