There should be a map and agent tutorial mode, where you will move through different guns, maps and play against different agents (AI bots) to familiarize yourself with different aspects of the game to a basic level.

Here is my rank reward Idea…

There should be a rank reward system where you will can unlock certain (Basic) skins or certain special variants of existing skins (If you own them) based on how many wins you get in ranked . For example, you need to get 50 rank match wins. Not necessarily rank-ups, 50 wins on a row, or 50 rough wins. And your account has to be above 200 level .You might still need to spend some radianite. The challenge will end with the act or mid act.

100% agree with the dependence on the pro scene and it’s bugged me for awhile.

Maps – Apparently we all have to play on the exact same maps as the pros so we can choose or have all the maps open to us to possibly play.

New Agents – As you mentioned several agents always seem to be held off till the Pros have a tournament or event.

Existent agent balancing – Who should be buffed and nerfed gets hyper focused on based on the pro scene. I’ll see this a lot even with Valorant YouTube content were they talk about “Good and bad agents” or “Most picked agents” yet they then will show VCT pick rates. Or one of the main claims to why Reyna hasn’t been buffed or nerfed is because it will impact pro play. I’m even seeing people online talk about nerfing viper due to pick rate at the pro level when she’s really only amazing there and just so so on ranked.

Riot bases way too much on the pro scene when the majority of their games and money comes from regular players.

At this point there should be at least one skin line with a custom model, custom sound fx and variants in the battle pass. But that’s never gonna happen just like free ranked rewards…

But the whole battlepass/skin thing is a lot more complex.
You refer to the player as the consumer, and that’s the thing. Riot is a company in a capitalistic economy, and sorry for being crass here, but they don’t own the playerbase shit. As long as the money keeps coming it is fair game. Not only that, hiring more artists and developers to expand the content in the game would cost money, and a lot of it, considering the work ethics at riot. So as a for-profit company. They just don’t do that. It probably won’t be that much of a dent in their profits, but why dent them????
This is the sad truth of the video gaming industry. No game will truly be the best it could be.

as a player who joined somewhere around the end of an act, it fking sucked having to learn a whole new map because riot decided that 13 are “too many”. and as a not-so-new player who mostly plays comp, i still don’t know fracture and pearl. im definitely gonna lose like 5 games when they come back until i’ve learned them. map rotation isn’t helping anyone.
