For anyone being confused why the update is so big:
1. It’s not new content nor does the update contain a lot of “new” files, they just basically make you “redownload” the game running on the new engine.
2. This is not going to make the game 30GB bigger. I’m pretty sure it’s even smaller than it was before. They’re talking about pre-downloading here. You don’t need to make the space if you’re able to just delete and reinstall the game yourself.
3. Because (I hope at least) they have improved the game for UE5, the game is going to run way better than before so be happy about this. (As long as they don’t introduce new game breaking bugs with this change)

BTW the update is basically like the update from CSGO to CS2, so if you don’t have enough storage to update, uninstalling the game and installing it when the patch comes out will have basically the same download size but uninstalling frees up 60gb, so you’re guaranteed to have enough storage for the update.
