Yes! The giggle is actually called a rapper tag. Ateez use it in most songs but rappers dont always include it. Hongjoongs is a laugh and Mingis is ‘Fix on’. Hans is a aaaargh kind of sound? And Changbins is yaaaaaw! You can hear Changbins in Hellevator and District 9 easily and Hans in Hellevator and M.I.A.
Some other examples are Seventeens S.Coups and BTS Suga, which is just their names.
Joohoney and I.M from Monsta x is Joohoney one hunnit and I am what I am, Yuto from Pentagon is Yutoda and BamBam from got7 is Double B!

As for Chan, hes actually technically in the vocal line. Voice wise skz is split into
-Rappers: Changbin, Hyunjin, Han and Felix
-Vocals: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N.
But it’s SKZ! So they’re always pushing themselves and testing their limits! They all dip into vocal and rap, playing around with their voices. The roles arent restrictive or definitive because 3racha make the music themselves, so they can adapt and write the songs with the members tones and styles in mind and allow them to experiment with switching rolls.

I’m really biased but Bang Chan is really good at both singing and rap, though I also love his singing voice more. His singing voice is UGH, I love it so much. Idk why but he carries so much emotion?? If that makes sense. (have you heard his skz record called I hate to admit? I’ll never shut up about it LMAO. I wish he’d do more songs like that 🥲)
Although I loved his part in this unit, I wish the autotune wasn’t as heavy

Thank you for another video about Stray Kids especially this kingdom content.
I have a recommendation for you, may you check Xdinary Heroes live clip.
I fall in love to them since their debut (Happy Death Day) and fall in deeper at this comeback (Test Me is their tittle track, but my another fav is Strawberry Cake especially that high notes part).
It would nice to see you analyse their as vocal teacher 🙂

I beg to disagree it’s not unpopular opinion to like Chan’s vocal more. XD. STAYS KNOW HIS VOCALS IS SOOO PRETYYYY WE ALL KNOW. You need to try listen to his cover on Zombie with Seungmin where he practiced only for like an hour before the show because suddenly happened to Han on the day. The thing about Bang Chan is, it shouldn’t even be an unpopular opinion (and among the people who follow skz’s works, it’s not) to prefer his singing because he IS mainly a vocalist. Non-stays and some newer stays get confused about it because of him being in 3RACHA and even google showing his position as rapper (come on google), but he raps really rarely in skz songs, even in 3RACHA pre-debut there were many songs of which he only sang the hook and didn’t rap. Changbin and Han are both trained rappers, I mean they got lessons outside JYPE while Chan didn’t and despite this he’s a very very good idol rapper (Mind you he’s better than many “rappers” of some other groups) who writes his own flows, that is a very hard thing. He also makes really good melody raps, which I love A LOT.) On the other hand, he’s a SINGER, the man is a main vocalist material and if they had official positions I think he would’ve been one along with Seungmin. His singing skills need to be talked about more and it’s us stays’ job to do so. He outsang everyone in that All I Want For Christmas is You performance and non-stays were shocked, remember? That’s because they didn’t even know he could sing. Stays, please spread this Chan main vocalist agenda, I’m telling you he’s one of the bests among 4th gen boy groups’ vocalists. The more you acknowledge and appreciate him as a singer, the more confident he’ll become and give us more performances/solo songs/covers and give himself the chance to shine hopefully.
