Odd you’re doing pretty decent so far. Decision making is a bit off here and there, but so far doing alright.
One thing however is that you GOTTA learn how to be more agressive early game. You just stop mowing crowds down for no reason. You’re ROBBING yourself of so many levels.
Learn to recognize when to be agressive and uber level yourself by, taking advantage of your weapon choices, and mowing crowds down and snatching their gems.
That bird is like an angry MLP character, friendship is magic and artillery
The “x-…” spell looks like it has roman numerals, which the game also uses for the pictures on the secrets/quests/unlocks. It feels like there’s something there, but I’m too afraid to google it and have the riddle spoiled for me.

I would get in the habit of checking the map first thing and make a mental note of all stage pick-ups. Until you have it memorized.
That way you can optimize which sub-weapons you earn via lvl up.
technical feedback: your voice recording seemed much quieter in this episode and especially with the vandalier bird making all the noise it was difficult to understand you. turn yourself up and the game volume down a bit.

inverse mode makes hp x3 and since their HP scales with your level they get really tanky really fast.
TO SETTLE THE DEBATE ON CHEST EVOLUTIONS!!!:
The first chest in Mad Forest dropped by the Glowing Bat, which spawns along the wave at 1:00, can evolve a weapon.
All chests in:
Dairy Plant
Il Molise
Cappella Magna
and
Boss Rash
can evolve a weapon regardless of time.
In Green Acres the ability to evolve a weapon is the same as the wave in its original stage (Green Acres waves are all just random copies from other stages).
In Tiny Bridge, all chests, except the chests from minute *spoilers* and *spoilers* bosses, can evolve a weapon.
All other stages abide by the 10min rule.
Treasure Chests that contain an Arcana (minutes 11:00 and 21:00 in every normal stage) can only evolve a weapon when the player is already at the max count of Arcana.
The Character *spoilers* can evolve weapons with any chest pickup that gives an item, regardless of other conditions.
Some specific chests can contain multiple evolutions, NOT random.
There’s no debate about how chests work, merely a vast misunderstanding between ‘general rules’ and ‘specific chests that drop on specific stages that have special rules’. However one rule that is for sure: leaving a chest on the ground will not change whether or not it has an evolution in it (so if you have an eligibile weapon to evolve, you should pick it up).

Is it just me, or was the game sound way louder than usual? I felt like I was having a hard time hearing him over the game, today.
Beginning is grate card, because it ALWAYS has the selected character’s weapon listed on it and its evolution.
What is hard about inverse mode, oh i dont know 200% ENEMY HP!!!!! That is 3x Enemy health!
Inverse mode is basically super hard mode. and without undoing a lot of bad habits, it’s really going to hurt.
EDIT: according to the wiki, the cause of the 10 minute chest confusion is that rule doesn’t apply in Dairy Plant, Capella Magna, Boss Rash and Mt. Moonspell
