Cute game I still think it needs a sequel now that the city is open maybe there should be a stray 2 and it could be called stray 2 the new world or a new world or new beginning and we can see how the robots and our stray cat adjust to the new place maybe even get adopted by Clementine.

The game wasn’t made by one person, it was made by an amazing company called Annapurna interactive which is the same company that helped publish outer wilds which is a masterpiece of a game and wish you finished it. I played it and it’s DLC and it was beautiful.

This might just be me but I think the whole outside world still has some of the plague/disease/mutations and everything that was in the slums since there can be parts where those things can stay hidden such as caves, abandoned facilities/buildings, and maybe even underwater since we don’t know if only the sewer water kills them, and yet we don’t actually know the planet we were set in.

Would be cool to see what happened to the outside if they are making a sequel. If there ever was, I’d think that the plot could be like a long search for the cat’s friends, then suddenly meeting a human being or a human civilization that’s thriving already which will be highly unlikely.

Wait so the other three cats from the beginning of the game are just forgotten? I was kind of hoping for a cute family reunion at the end of the game 😕 it was still a pretty sick story though

Why isn’t this a Netflix series? This game reminds of Love Death and Robots episode from season 1, 3 Robots. I’d watch a whole series about how humans died out, there’s only robots, and cats are the remaining mammalian species. I’d binge tf out of that

I’m a little upset that we never get to see the cat reunite with its family once again as it was a really big moment when the cat lost its family. So throughout the whole thing I was expecting it to happen as that was what I was *really* looking forward to towards the end. It also just seemed like it would happen either way. It’s a shame.

Cats show affection through their blinking. Slowly closing their eyes and then opening them again while looking at you means that they love you. So, at the end, that extra long blink at the camera was actually ginger showing affection towards the player.
