2 Years after the bombing Hiroshima the city was rebuilt. People still live at Chernobyl. What I’m saying is humanity is resilient and could survive almost any disaster. Also “WE” as in people as a whole, have very little effect on global climate. Yes we can effect terrain and local environment but climate is not so simple. Talking about effecting local is impossible unless it is in a greenhouse because the climate is connected globally. Also every ice age this planet has gone through showed how the temperature rose before everything froze over. Ice cores from Antarctica show how “Global Warming” is just like the changing of the season, inevitable. All we can do is make small adjustments around ourselves so that WHEN it happens we are better prepared for it. No matter how much thinning takes place in a forest fire will spread. We just help reduce the damage by fractions.

I haven’t enjoyed myself playing a game where I don’t even feel time passing by in SUCH A LONG TIME. This game is the perfect mixture between cuteness and thrill. Perfect graphics and great monologues, absolutely brilliant game. 10/10.

1:46:06 So…is that a sign that B12 is alive in the City Mainframe? Another stranger idea I had, is maybe that’s a hint of how the robots reproduce: we’ve seen these panels, of varying sizes, resembling Companion heads all over the City… I’m almost thinking that may be how the Companion “race” is reproducing… kinda like the Zurk eggs. Maybe, just maybe, B12 trapped in the City systems for all those thousands of years was the one to facilitate the birth and even development of these children of Mankind?

I just finished the game.. kinda felt sad because we didn’t get a last sequence where our main cat reunites with his cat friends from the beginning of the game 🥲

An adorable detail in the ending is that the cat squints at the camera/back into the facility. Squinting like that is how cats smile and show trust

that awkward moment when stray tells a better cyberpunk story than Cyberpunk 2077

but to plug a theory of mine into here– i dont think B-12 was really the only human left (sort of.) Think back to Doc and Seamus – it struck me as odd that robots were referring to themselves as family members. (Sure its a back to the future reference but bear with me) But knowing that the scientist hooked himself up to some sort of network, I think a number of the last remaninig humans did the same but their transfer to the robot helper bots in a last ditch effort to escape the plague but the scientist got ‘stuck in the matrix’ so to speak. Years and years and years have passed to the point the robots have forgotten that they were once the Soft Ones themselves, they see them as ancestors now and have become entirely different and unique lifeforms. I mean, i think the whole ‘aww the robots started mimicking humans’ thing was a flimsy excuse because what would prompt that kind of behavior if the helper bots in the control room area are still non-sentient, task preforming robots?

But with B-12 being lost in the matrix for so long he lost his memories too, but was able to recover them more easily since life didn’t really carry on for him like it did the rest of the robots. So by all accounts, he’s the closest to ‘human’ compared to the rest of the robots.

Just a theory n such
