Stay away from any Uncle Mikes holsters because they’re complete garbage.

Stay away from uncle Mike holsters. They are crap. If you absolutely need something cheap and want it on your belt get a flat belt loop holster. Blackhawk makes some that are damn good quality. I also recommend cya supply holsters, use one with my glock and haven’t looked back. Before that I almost exclusively used alien gear which is also a excellent holster.

Yeah, you’re always playing Russian roulette when you carry your gun Mexican-style.

My first “holster” was literally a cheap 10$ “belt holster”. Tldr it is this leather strip you put your belt through and it and your belt acts like the holster. Yes it did cover the trigger and yes I did upgrade to a actual holster.

More specific a shoulder holster cause damn I look good in flannel.

Buy a holster, then practice with an empty gun for awhile, drawing AND stowing. Reholstering is vital prepwork for safe carry and the next draw. Make sure it’s done right. Careless reholstering has caused just as many ND’s as sloppy draws.
