I’m glad Niantic announced that they are increasing the number of pokecoins that someone can earn as they changed the price of the raid passes. Oh, wait they didn’t? So if you want to remote raid now, you must grind longer to not pay. Sorry after the better in-person Error 36 raids in New Zealand, this might be the final nail in the coffin for me.

They could have done anything. Like 1) Make it all raids only give the starting pokemon in that evolution chain, and in person raids give a chance to get a 2nd tier or 3-tier evolution and not give normal candy 2) Heck difference in candy and XL candy is fine, maybe have it 10x for in person. 3) Earnable outfits and costumes for certain pokemon.

So many other options, but they are just ruining the game for those who don’t live in cities and can’t easier move around. Let me earn my 50 coins in the one gym I can actually walk to for 4 days and hope on day 5 I can by a remote raid.pass.

Looking forward to seeing how Niantic increases the number of Pokestop and Gyms in non-city areas to “balance” this out and increase the daily cap of coins.

I understand Pokémon go is a go outside and have fun with people. Where I live the community is slowly dying due to stuff like this, so finding people to raid and such is getting harder and harder with each passing month. Remote raiding with a discord group I’m in has allowed me to raid. But now with RR pass going up in price it may be not worth it to continue playing at all. Niantic forced me to go find people online NOT outside and now if I wanna continue that I must pay double. Such an incompetent company Niantic is.

This is sad 🙁 as a person that can’t get remote raid passes often, the increase of price is crazy unfair. I hope they change it back. Probably not though. And 5 raids a day? I feel bad for Mystic7! What is gonna happen to the challenges? I don’t really like this update 🙁

As someone in a area with nothing. Everyday there ruining it for me. This is the last straw now I can’t do anything in this game. This is extremely Dissapointing Niantic.

i can live with the max 5 raids a day, but why do they have to increase the prise???? its just gonna cost more money now. It cost a lot to play this game already

I haven’t heard anyone say anything like this, but I have an idea for how to fix raiding for rural players.

If you live in a rural or remote area, I feel like it would be good idea to link the raid lobbies of nearby gyms. So you can join a raid from the gym near you, and be put in a lobby with people at another gym nearby that is also considered remote area. It would incentivize people to go to these raids knowing that there’s a better chance they’d get a more full lobby.

This is a really bad decision on their part… for the people who live in the middle of nowhere, to people who physically can’t even leave their house, it really sucks… yikes 😬

The pricing is the biggest problem I raid a lot in person and remote but 70% of my legendary Shiny has been from remotely they should boost shiny odds a lil for in person raids that’ll make more people do them

One step forward, two step back. Niantic finds a way to always ruin the game. How about the disabled, the immunocompromised people, those who live in rural areas, and simply those who prefer staying at home? Going out is not as common as it was before the pandemic, and Niantic will never understand that.

This will be the death of Pokemon Go. It’s been a good 7 years. Pokemon Go will slowly spiral down to it’s death in a couple years/months time

instead of 20 or more raids a week just do 1 or 2 , most 5* raid bosses are useless.
