niantic kinda bold to assume my local area has pogo players
Bro i live in a tiny community theres only 2 others that play go near me this is awful i can never get legends
game aboutta get massive hate again lmao
I live in Réunion Island, and there is no community in my city. I play with 4 other friends and we aren’t strong enough to take down raids in person 5 star raids. Thus, It’s fairly easy to understand that remote raids helped us a lot to grow our accounts as players. Niantic increasing the prices of remote raid passes and limiting the amount of raids possible per day is just going to be a bad thing for us due to the lack of trainers in person. Very sad that this game I absolutely love and have an amazing time playing it with my friends will be just less entertaining.
Well this will make the game pretty much unplayable for me, raiding wise. I don’t have a “local community” to help out with raiding and I’ve been relying only on remote passes and friends from all over the world to raid legendaries and stuff. The price increase to almost double and then also limiting them is just telling me to stop spending all together because what’s the point? RNG hates me with a passion so no shinies, most likely no hundos, so really there is no point in spending on raids. And while yes, some people might say – hey, you can invite people to join your local raids remotely, but they will just have the same problem as me – the passes are just way too expensive. They had such a good thing, why would they ruin that? And people who didn’t like them or claim “they break the game” – well nobody asked you to use them. I really don’t know why Niantic decided this was a good idea. And then the thing that bugs me as well is the fact that if they do decide to bring it back for certain events they will make it sound like a “bonus”, when it was a feature before. So no, it’s not a bonus, it’s stupid.
I think it’s good that it’s less buy to win now with legendary shinies
Looks like I will be quitting on April 6th just like they want. Awesome.
they should at the LEAST do 20 a day for the legendary shiny odds
As a day 1 player, in a rural area, always having my Pokestop submissions declined, with no community other than me walking around, this will 1000% make things worse. Literally no chance in hell of me doing a raid in person with community, seriously, pigs WILL fly before im able to do that.
Not happy about this change, but can (annoyingly) see what Niantic kinda mean…
Best update in a while. Now its like 2016-2019, when the game was more fun.
Honestly this was really not a smart move from niatic. The community will either start leaving the game and pokemon go might start dying again OR they will return in back to the normal prices. That´s my opinion, for myself I don´t like it at all since I am a person that can barely get coins.
The whole goal of this game is to get people outside. I’m amazed on how people have a fit because they have to go outside to play. Rural areas aside 5 remote raids is plenty. Shiny pokemon are not guaranteed and are to common imo with the unlimited remote raids like it was before. Oh no it might take up to 4 days to find a shiny legendary oh noooooo. Oh no Niantic don’t want my money lmao people will still pay, if they didn’t Niantic wouldn’t raise price
I have enough trouble getting remote raid passes as it is
Now what
Pokémon Go is a massive Data steal that’s the money. Us buying stuff isn’t paying the bills
Boooooooooooooooooooo
I honestly understand this change
As a person that does both in person and remote. They are basically cutting off their main source of income
If they take out remote raids it will kill the game
Pokemon Go is officially dead
this is so dumb, nerfing remote raids doesnt mean more raids in person, there isnt enough players anymore… The only thing that will happen is that it is going to be a lot harder for people to do raids with others as they will be more cautious using their remote pass. Right before covid until now, Ive never find a raid where there was other people in person, only remote pass made it possible to take down a legendary pokemon. The game is not what it used to be in its prime days, maybe I am overeacting but I feel this could be something that make some players stop playing…
I am not spending £5 for a remote raid pass
