This is so true, how am I going to catch certain legendary if I can not get the extra balls from remote friends when they are already so hard to catch. how will we take it down when no one around your local raid plays the game. How will I know who to invite, when people have already done their 5 remote raids already and in that case I lose the invites and the extra balls that I needed to not lose the hard Pokémon to catch. I think this should be boycotted by the community for every aspect this will affect. This will hurt all of us not just rural or paid to win players.

Simple solution. Make every raid boss soloable. If the trainer has enough level 40+ Pokemon that are top tier counters and shadow pokemon. That way rural players can go outside alone and solo the raid in person

Wow I see spoofing become more popular now, that Niantic wants to forces there way down our throats. Like most people, I also live in a rural area that no one plays this game anymore. Also FL sucks for events and raids, cause again no one plays. Hense why I spoof and will continue otherwise, till Niantic wakes up, and realizes that they keep making this game for even more of a notch audience, what will end up killing their game in the end.

They can’t even do IRL events right. Look at Hoenn tour on Saturday and Regidraco in NZ and even some US players. Lol nah that’s it for Raids for me!

Kinda a bummer. It’s a drive for me to a spot with good poke stops. As someone who just recently started getting back into it, remote raids were useful catching up with getting a good team put together. Now It’ll be alot slower

Why are they making this decision it ruins the game for players who live in small towns that dont ever have people to do raids with. Remote raid passes bring in so much money for them why would they stop? Worst idea they have ever had.

This is so unfair, I live in an area where there are gyms, but no one plays, so for 4 days just to get 1 raid pass and not use my daily pass is just too absurd

As a free to play player this is super frustrating as i have to wait 2 days before getting enough pokecoins from gyms and now its going to be 4 😢

Niantic can’t blame inflation, it literally costs Niantic nothing to produce a raid pass. Raw materials Zero. Labor to produce. Zero. Shipping and delivery costs? Zero.
