with what’s going on in the world a lot of people don’t want to go outside or live in a area where there’s not a lot of people playing or events or raids in their area which makes remote raids crucial for them.

Niantic also stated that if people want to boycott the game, or stop playing, they’ll just use their advert money to entice new players who never knew about the pandemic times

Why does Niantic hate rural players so much, this NERF puts them at an even greater disadvantage. As with the Elite raids without remote raiders Level 5 raids are impossible. The Gimeghoul event too is impossible there are not dozens of golden stops to get coins from and no other players to put our lures, feeling screwed yet again

There is a boycott planned when the update comes out, either uninstall or stop spending money in order to get the message across to Niantic. There is only way to get them to understand and it’s through their wallet

the thing is, i live around 6-7 miles from the nearest gym, and barely ANYONE plays pokemon go near me, and the fact that the gym is on a main road, leads to lots of issues.

Know why remote raid passes dominate the game? Because for most people they are the BEST WAY to play the game. Way to cr-p on that, Niantic. I’m level 50, my wife is level 49, my son is level 46. Neither confirming nor denying the existence of 2 level 49 alt accounts.. Between us we spend $80 – $200 per week, the bigger number involving com days, go fests, tours, etc. That is basically done. Mostly free to play, _if I play at all_ . From now on all raids we do will be private, not going to give in person raiders a ride on my expensive and limited raids. Those who wanted this to “build community” aren’t going to have this go the way they think it will.

With these changes I’m heartbroken I don’t have a community where I live, I’m not rich and I don’t live in a city it’s bad enough that the legendary pokemon encounters in gbl got nerfed now there will be a limit on how many remote raids I can do I hoped I would never say this but I might actually quit playing pokemon go all together I already don’t do gbl unless it’s a research task or a battle day and I hardly do my daily adventure incense now I won’t be able to do very many remote raids in a day I want to say I hope things work out for Niantic but honestly I think this is the beginning of the end for pokemon go
