This is hardly a game with only a jump button and a meow button. Just check out Bootyhunter’s review for this game and why this game sucks. It looks good but the game literally plays by itself. 2/10 game

I kinda wished Stray was more like Untitled Goose Game where you catted through the city doing cat things, slowly driving a simpler story. The story-driven game we got instead is nice, but it really didn’t matter that you were a cat. You could’ve played the game as B12 and barely anything would’ve changed.
And the story we did get feels incomplete in places. We don’t really get much of an epilogue at all. We don’t even get to see if our cat is reunited with its cat friends from the beginning. There’s so much of the world that B12 won’t translate. So many doors that you can’t scratch. So many platforms that the cat just… won’t jump to, especially in Midtown. I like the game, but I feel like there could’ve been a lot more to it and that’s a big missed opportunity.

This was honestly what my impression of the game was and I didn’t understand the hype. Glad to know I wasn’t wrong. It just doesn’t seem like anything particularly amazing or special.

stray is really just a nice 3D point and click in which you play as a cat
devs could defenitly add more content, you cant even go on the roofs of the upper city
for 27€ ? meh why not

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought it and I really really liked it. You have to accept that you’re playing the most intelligent cat ever, but otherwise it’s a really nice little game. I enjoyed the storyline too, which tries to do a bit more than carrying you to the next place.
