I think there’s a pretty big chance for a sequel. This was called Walled City 99, implying there’s at least 98 others. The plague only affected city 99, so there might still be humans in the other cities

Fun fact: although so much of the movement animations look like mocap, there is NONE whatsoever. It is all reference based animation, for the cat, for the robots, everything. That is what I call dedication, the subtle intricacies have been captured purrfectly.

I really wish they could have had the cat meet up with his family from the beginning. Like, I’m sure he eventually found them again, I just wish we could have seen them reunited.

Fun fact: the cat in the game actually has a name; it’s Murtaugh. The name is a tribute to the co-founders actual IRL pet. He is also known as ‘The Boss’, idk, thought that was an interesting tidbit. Thanks google.

I loved watching this game so much. I hope there is a sequel of some sort. Some thoughts for that:

1. Maybe B-12 is still alive in the system somehow, and could come back? Wondering if that spark had something to do with that.
2. Could be about the cat traversing the outside to get back to the other cats. It would need a story I assume, which could maybe have to do with the reintroduction of the robots to the outside?
3. I would be really interested to see if they would somehow make humans still alive in small numbers on the outside.
4. Another option is that any of these or any other scenario happens from the perspective of a different cat. Or maybe even a dog? Personally, my hope would be for the same cat, but I’d still be interested in any sequel they came up with.

The robot at the start was reading a book with Latin letters instead of Minecraft Enchanted letters, it might just be a joke by the devs or it could also mean the residents of mid-town are more educated than those in the Slums, so much that they could understand old language that most likely went extinct for millions of years

Really loved this game! It was so engaging and fun, and the story was amazing!

I just realized right as the game ended it showed the power box or electric keypad glitch and idk but if there is going to be a second game I hope that B-12 will come back because he did say something like he is going to control the system so maybe the glitch was signifying that B-12 is still alive. But then again im probably over exaggerating the glitch… But then again it was the last thing that happened before the credits so it”s probably like a “To be continued” cliffhanger thing. Anyways this game is absolutely fantastic!!! I probably could talk about the music, characters, bg, lore, storyline etc for hours on end because it is so fascinating with everything there is to know. probably my favorite game this year!!! 🤩👍
