By the video.
The premise certainly is that the guy in said video wasn’t carrying his gun in a holster.
But equally.
He might have had the cheapest, most poorly made holster and had his gun in THAT.
Such contrivances ARE, sadly, to be found out in the wild.
And folks who know little about firearms or best carrage methods for those firearms… and have even less money to spend?
Are the most prone to buying and using trash holsters.
And a poorly fitted or designed holster can be just as bad as not having any holster at all.
So my advice would be to buy a gun you can afford that meets your immediate need…..THEN…. spend close to the same amount or even a little more than you paid for THAT gun…..on a decently made holster.

I not only carry my gun in a holster with a good trigger guard but any handgun l have that’s not in a case such as my bedside gun is in a holster with a good triggers guard because if its dark and you go to grab in the middle of the night or early morning you could accidentally pull the trigger trying to grab it in the dark the only way I’d keep a gun on my bedside without a holster is if it has a manual safety otherwise it’s in a case or holster my shotgun and rifle have manual safeties keep the safety engaged in the do not fire position and all is well l only want the gun to fire when l want it to not randomly laying a gun without a holster on a dresser nightstand or in a dresser drawer is a accident waiting to happen this rule is for guns that there’s a round chambered in a intense life threatening situation I’m not wanting nor have the time to chamber a round before it’s ready to fire

I see it all the time at work. I work at a dealership in quick lube and a lot of people put guns in their glove box or center console without a holster. Idiots🤦🏻‍♂️

I make my own I have forever. I prefer pocket carry with only the firearm in a dedicated pocket nothing else in the pocket but always in a holster.

I was pouring concrete for a big job one day, and this old guy, who turned out to be the boss, for the concrete finishers walked up to talk to me. After a few minutes of conversation he turned around, walked three or four steps away, and bent over to pick up a hammer, up off the ground. That’s when I realized he had a S&W shield tucked in the back of his pants, no belt, no holster, just tucked in his butt crack, and pointed it straight at me when he picked up the hammer.
