I am spoofer, why you ask me? No one in my area play the game, imagine sitting alone in a pokestop (btw we just have few pokestop, and gyms that barely has activities) my mon’s never comeback in a several day/week if I play legit, I spoof just to get pokemons that I like, and play in place like NYC, Spain, that has a loot of stops and lobby raid, if I play legit I would not have any legendary for years, cause no one is in lobby, I don’t even have many pokecoins (I’m not abusing gyms/trolling legit player), and now yes I got warnings, all I can do is just pvp, and the best about that is I just have 100k dust lol

just got my first warning, been spoofing for 5 months now i noticed this happened when the app went under maintenance, i hopped on for a bit and after that i got that message lol kinda sucks but i expected this coming

I support spoofing is specific cases. I work with heavily disabled people, and a handful of them love pkmn go because it’s easy for them to understand, but they are legit tied to a bed or chair because they can’t walk, and are hooked up to machines almost 24/7. Now they only spoof the park in our area. That’s a rule they made and they’ve stuck with that for 3 years. But niantic doesn’t care about these kinds of people (the heavily disabled.) My group doesn’t even know what shundos (sp?) or anything like that are either. I wish Niantic would come up with some sort of accessibility solution for people like them. I don’t want to have to tell my little group of players that Niantic banned their accounts because of their disabilities. It’s hard enough as is.

I think spoofing is for cheaters who don’t work for the Pokémon they have. I hope they catch all of them and ban them. I personally look to report all of em and get them off Pokémon go they have no business here. They are truly a bunch of lazy cheaters.

I spoof for 5 years already.. I try to go to middle of my town where ppl are hanging out but I cant find a single player that wants to raid or even plays the game.. Spawns are bad like zubat pidgey cubone and that type of pokemons I cant trade with anyone because I cant find ppl to play where I live… I do spoof but I also spend money on game and grind pokemons.. If they make sure that spawns are better and easier to obtain rare candy for legendaries then it would make life eaiser for everyone that lives in rural area or place where ppl dont play Pokemon Go..

Increase stops and gyms. Stop taking them away. Please. Please. We should all be able to play in our local community and not be forced to travel cus some town has 5 gyms and 10 stops all 1/4 mile from each other.

So I know a few people who us the walking app to walk 145 km a day and not walk at all they are leveling up fast getting more bonuses and I have unfriend them please this is also unfair

Niantic was always bound to have spoofers once they introduced region locks.

A few ideas that could limit/decrease spoofers
1. International trade days, u can still limit the special trades but on those days allow world wide trade with friends overseas could help a lot.
2. Massively increase spawn rates in rural areas. Or allow them to submit something like a lamp post or a letter box as a pokestop if their area is lacking in land marks.
3.rotate regionals more often. I understand they’re region locked for a reason but a lot of people live their entire lives never leaving their country of birth.
4. Revert back to covid settings. That brought a lot of players back for a reason.

Just some random ideas.

How about they improve the game play and actually LISTEN to the ideas being put out by the very people who are making them money. Plus these safari events in only certain locations develop the cheaters. Also if Niantic was fully honest with this game I believe cheaters would be down to a minimum hardly any. It’s to the point you have a actual group of people who data mine the game and leak info…isn’t that a problem too?

I don’t spoof and for the most part I don’t agree with those that do spoof, but I will be honest and say I do follow a Youtube spoofer! I learn so much from his streams, plus I also enjoy seeing shinnies caught. I am 64 years old and level 45, I love the game and have spent way too much time, effort and money on the account to risk losing it! What surprises me the most is that I have shinnies that the spoofer I watch doesn’t have. You would think being able to catch all around the world would mean they have every shiny, but I don’t think that is the case. So, yes they do have advantages we who play legitimately don’t, but not as much as you think!
